Jules Brown has written for Rough Guides since 1986 and is the author of the Rough Guide to the Lake District.

Samantha Cook is a writer and editor born and based in London. She is the co-author ofthe Rough Guides to London, Vintage London and Kent, Sussex & Surrey,the sole author of the Rough Guides to New Orleans and Chick Flicks, and acontributor to many others.

Keith Drew grew up on the edge of the Mendips and spent his Saturday afternoons atthe Rec in Bath, which he fondly recalls, and his Saturday evenings on ParkStreet in Bristol, which he cant really remember at all. A ManagingEditor at Rough Guides, he is also co-author of the RoughGuide to Bath, Bristol and Somerset.

Matthew Hancock and Amanda Tomlin are authors of the Rough Guide to Britain andthe Rough Guide to Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle ofWight. Matthew Hancock is also the author of the Rough Guidesto Portugal, Madeira, Lisbon and the Algarve.

Emma Harrison is a writer and editor based in Liverpool. She is Editor of TheIndependent Map Company and a keen traveller, with a particular interest inthe Northwest of England.
