- Butter, softened - 225g
- Caster sugar - 225g
- Fre e- range eggs - 4
- Sel f- rising flour ( sifte d ) - 300g
- Baking powder - 2 level tsp.
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp.
- Milk - 4 tbsp.
For the filling
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- Strawberry jam - 2 tbsp.
- Ful l- fat crme Fraiche - 200ml
- Small fresh strawberries, hulled and cut in half - 300g
- Double cream, whipped - 300ml
- Icing sugar - for dusting

Procedure:
Preheat the oven to 360 F . Grease a baking tin with butte r .
With an electric mixer, beat butter, sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, vanilla, and milk for 2 minute s . Pour into greased ti n . Bake for 35 minute s .
Trim its edges and cut three strips verticall y . Cut each strip into 7x3 cm slice s . Slice each piece horizontally into two halves, to fill up like a sandwic h .
To make the filling, blend jam and lemon juic e . Stir in strawberries, whipped cream, and crme Fraiche togethe r . Whisk to form a thick crea m .
Spread this cream between slice s . Sprinkle icing sugar and serv e .

- Butter - 450g

- Milk - 4 tbsp.
- Icing sugar - 560g
- White fondant - 2 kg
- Black fondant 5 kg
- Apricot jam 1 tsp.

Procedure:
Preheat the oven to 370 F . Grease a hemisphere tin or bow l .
Combine butter and sugar in a bowl until pal e . Beat in the eggs and vanill a .
Then stir in flour, mix well to form a batte r . Pour it into the ti n .
Bake for 20 minute s . Cool for 5 minute s .
To make butte r - cream, beat butter and half of the icing sugar until smoot h . Stir in the remaining icing sugar and mil k . Beat until cream y .
Spread butte r - cream over the hemisphere spong e .
Roll white fondant and cut into a large circl e . Drape it over the crea m .
Roll black fondant and cut eyes and mout h . Place jam on the back of eyes and mouth and place on the white fondan t .

- Water - 75 ml
