Meat is a staple in most households today. While meat may not be necessarily healthy for us, there is no denying that is contains one of the essential nutrients our bodies need: protein. Meat is one of those types of dishes that is served worldwide regardless of the occasion. Whether you are preparing chicken, beef, seafood, lamb, veal or pork, there are literally thousands of different ways that these types of meat can be prepared.
That is exactly what you will discover inside of this cookbook. Throughout the pages of this cookbook, you will discover how to best prepare different types of meat that you may need to prepare during the week. By the end of this cookbook, not only am I confident that you will learn how to prepare even the most difficult cuts of meat, but you will have plenty of meat recipes that you can prepare from the comfort of your own home.

Philly Cheese Steak Sloppy Joes
This is a dish that is made with the perfect combination of cheese steaks and sloppy joes to make a dinner dish you will love.
Makes: 6 servings
Total Prep Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp. of cornstarch
- cup of low sodium chicken broth
- 2 tsp. of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 sweet onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 pound of lean ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. of ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. of taco seasoning
- tsp. of salt
- tsp. of black pepper
- 1 cups of sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 hamburger buns
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to broil.
- In a bowl, add in the cornstarch and chicken broth. Whisk until smooth in consistency. Set aside.
- In a skillet set over medium to high heat, add in the olive oil. Add in the chopped sweet onion and chopped green bell pepper. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until soft.
- Add in the lean ground beef. Cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes. Drain the excess grease.
- Add in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, taco seasoning, dash of salt and black pepper. Stir well to mix. Add in the chicken broth mix. Allow to come to a simmer. Cook for 3 minutes or until thick in consistency.
- Scoop some of the meat mix onto the buns. Top off with cup of the shredded white cheddar cheese. Top off with the top burger buns. Place onto a baking sheet.
- Place into the oven to broil for 1 minute or until toasted.
- Remove and serve immediately.
Smoked Brown Sugar Salmon
Even if you are not a fan of seafood, this is one meat dish that you will find difficult to resist. It is only made with 5 ingredients, making it one of the simplest dishes you can make. Makes: 6 servings
Total Prep Time: 2 hours
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of salmon
- 1 tsp. of salt
- 1 tsp. of black pepper
- 1 tsp. of dried dill
- 2 Tbsp. of light brown sugar
Directions:
- Preheat an outdoor smoker to 250 to 275 degrees.
- In a bowl, add in the dried dill, light brown sugar, dash of salt and black pepper. Stir well to mix. Sprinkle over the top of the salmon.
- Set the salmon aside to rest for 1 hour.
- Place the salmon into the smoker. Smoked for 1 hour or until the salmon is cooked through.
- Remove and serve.
Oven Baked Barbecue Brisket
With the help of this delicious barbecue recipe, you will never have to order from your favorite barbecue takeout ever again. Makes: 8 servings
Total Prep Time: 6 hours and 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 5 to 6 pounds of beef brisket
- 1 tsp. of celery salt
- 1 tsp. of powdered garlic
- 1 tsp. of onion salt
- 2 ounces of liquid smoked
- 1 ounce of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup of barbecue sauce
Directions:
- In a bowl, add in the celery salt, powdered garlic and onion salt. Stir well to mix. Sprinkle this mix on both sides of the beef brisket.
- Transfer the beef brisket into a baking pan lined with a sheet of aluminum foil.
- Pour the liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce over the top.
- Seal the foil and set into the fridge to marinate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 275 degrees.
- Place the beef brisket into the oven to bake for 5 hours. Remove the foil and add in 1 cup of the barbecue sauce. Continue to bake for an additional hour.
- Remove and set aside to cool for 20 minutes. Slice and serve.
Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs
This is a fun and delicious twist on a classic meatball recipe that makes for a delicious appetizer dish to serve during your next dinner event.
Makes: 6 servings
Total Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pounds of lean ground beef
- 1/3 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp. of salt
- tsp. of black pepper
- tsp. of powdered garlic
- tsp. of dried oregano
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. of water
- 6 ounces of mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
- 3 cups of marinara sauce
- 2 Tbsp. of parsley, chopped
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to broil. Place a sheet of aluminum foil onto a baking sheet. Grease with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, add in the ground beef, breadcrumbs, powdered garlic, dried oregano, egg and water. Season with a dash of salt and black pepper. Stir well to mix.
- Shape the mix into 2 to 3 inch sized balls. Press a cube of the mozzarella cheese into the center of each ball. Roll the meat mix around the cheese. Place onto the baking sheet.
- Grease the meatballs with cooking spray.
- Place into the oven to broil for 10 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Transfer the meatballs onto a serving plate. Spread the marinara sauce over the top.
- Serve with a garnish of chopped parsley.
