5-Spice Chicken
Duration: 40 minutes
Yield: 4
Ingredient List:
- Boneless and skinless chicken breast: 4 medium
- Thin slices of shallots: 2
- Crushed garlic: 1 clove
- Soy sauce: 2 tbsp.
- Dry sherry: 1 tbsp.
- Five-spice powder: tsp.
- Chopped spring onion: 1
- Sesame seeds: cup
- Chopped coriander: cup

How to Cook:
Make 2.5cm chunks of chicken and put them in one bowl with 5-spice powder, shallot slices, crushed garlic, sherry and soy sauce.
Loosely cover this bowl with the help of a cling film and put it in your fridge to marinate for almost 1 hour or even longer period.
Put one foil sheet on an upper rack of halogen oven and turn its edges up to carefully catch juices of chicken while cooking.
Tip in chicken together with its marinade and spread it in an equal layer.
Set the temperature of your oven to almost 200F for almost 25 minutes and turn occasionally to cook chicken equally.
Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds, chopped coriander, and spring onion. You can serve them with steamed rice.
Spaghetti Bolognese
Duration: 30 minutes
Yield: 4
Ingredient List:
- Lean minced steak: 18 ounces
- Crushed garlic: 1
- Beef cubes: 2
- Chopped pepper: 1
- Chopped Onion: 1
- Salt: as per taste
- Bolognese sauce: 1 medium jar
- Pepper: as per taste
- Spaghetti: 350 grams

How to Cook:
Preheat your halogen oven to almost 464F for a few minutes.
Put in all ingredients except Bolognese sauce and spaghetti. Set the dial of halogen oven to 7 minutes at 464F. Mix occasionally to make mince brown.
Break spaghetti in half and add in halogen oven and Bolognese sauce. Mix spaghetti with some mince and cover it with sauce. Put lid on oven and set its temperature to 392F for almost 10 minutes.
Serve hot Bolognese with sauce.
Cheese Souffl
Duration: 1 hour
Yield: 6
Ingredient List:
- Crumbled cheddar cheese: 175g
- Eggs (separated): 6
- Crme fraiche: 500g
- Cayenne pepper: to taste
- Crushed garlic: 1 clove
- Cayenne Pepper and sea salt: to taste
- Unsalted melted butter: 2 tbsp.
- Parmesan cheese (grated): 50g
- Grated nutmeg: 1 pinch
- Juice and zest of lemon: 1 lemon

How to Cook:
Put the egg yolks, cheese, crushed garlic, salt and cayenne pepper in your blender or food processor. Process these ingredients to get a smooth blend.
Add crme fraiche and blend again. Use a stainless steel bowl to whisk egg whites to make stiff peaks and fold it in the crme fraiche blend.
Line the inner sides of every ramekins (total 6 ramekins required) with some butter and sprinkle in parmesan cheese to stick to the base and buttered sides of all ramekins. Shake out any excessive quantity.
Pour liquid in every ramekin and fill it to level. Put on a lower rack in your halogen oven and set timer to almost 12 minutes. Set temperature knob to 360F. Bake to make it golden brown and nicely puff.
Sprinkle with some grated cheese and serve hot.
