Our body is biologically trained to utilize carbohydrates to carry out numerous body functions. As we consume carbohydrates rich food, our body uses them to produce energy and an extra amount of carbs that are left unused, are being stored in our body. Such carbohydrates accumulation leads to unwanted weight gain and obesity.
Ketogenic diet aims to promote healthy weight loss without starving yourself with food. It seeks to minimize bad carbohydrate consumption and increase the use of food with high healthy fats. Keto diet also emphasizes protein consumption for a well-balanced diet.
