What Is Search EngineOptimization?
Intro
I am going to teach you exactly howto set up a blog
and make a consistent stream of income, with your blogs.
Also, whats great about this is youcan have as many
blogs as you want.
You can rinse and repeat this process as much as you like.
It isnt as hard as you may think, sojust carefully follow the instructions in this book, and you shouldbe good to go.
Make sure that you read each pageuntil the very end, so you dont miss any key information.
We will be talking about exactly howto build up a blog from scratch.
How to produce content, gettraffic and eventually monetize the site.
If you read everything from start tofinish and
YOU TAKE ACTION then you should have some pretty good incomeproducing blogs.
When I say we are going to make moneyblogging online, I am not talking about the blogs where you talkabout what happened at work today, and talk about your dailylife.
These blogs are very niche specific, and each blog contains several articles about a certain niche.
Let me give you an example ofthis:
My selected niche topic is Golf forexample, yours doesnt have to be on this topic, Im just using itas an example.
Now, my golf blog contains several articles about playing golf.
So, since Ive chosen the golfniche - one of my articles for example, would be titled How tochoose a golf club.
So, youre going to need to pick aniche topic, that you are very interested in.
It could be one of your hobbies or interests for example.
It is very important that you choosea niche that you enjoy talking about, or know a lot about.
If you choose a niche topic that youdont know much about, its going to be hard to write content andyou may lose interest in your site pretty quickly.
Also, when youre picking a niche youneed to be aware of the profitability of that niche.
Theres no point creating a blog about a niche that people arentinterested in.
Using Googles Keyword Tool, youcan find out if people are searching for your niche topic.
So, to be sure that youre entering aprofitable niche, make sure that youre keyword has a minimum of1,000-2,000 monthly searches.
If I were to do that with a niche such as the golf niche I wouldsimply type a keyword for the niche such as golf and a variety ofrelated keywords will show up.
This should indicate the amount ofinterest in your niche.
Now, that I know that the Golf nicheis in demand.
I can go and create a niche blog forthe golf topic, since it appears to be a pretty popular niche.
Also, if you can, try and targetkeywords that have medium or low competition.
So, when youre creating content foryour site, try and target medium/low competition keywords, so thatits easier for Google to pick up your blog when people type inthat keyword.
So, when you give one of yourarticles a title try and include one low/medium competition keywordinside the article title.
Creating A Domain
Once you know what niche topic thatyour blog is going to be about, its now time to create a domainname for your site.
When youre choosing a domain namefor your site, be sure to include the niche topic inside yourdomain name.
So, for example my niche is Golf, somy domain name is going to be called something like golftips.comor howtoplaygolf.com or topgolftips.com.
When you go and register a domain, Isuggest you go with a site called Godaddy. Ive found that theyrethe LEAST hassle, and the easiest to use.
But its up to you which site you useto register your domain.
There is also a site calledNamecheap, you can find some pretty cheap domains from thissite.
They do seem to have a pretty goodservice, I personally havent used them myself but Ive heard a lotof good things about them.
I personally just use Godaddy forregistering my domains.
Also, when youre registering yourdomain, you have the choice of choosing an extra .net and .infoand a few other domain types for an extra few dollars.
This can be good if you dont wantyour competition to register a domain with a .net (or any otherdomain type) using your name.
I generally don't do this, and it's not really necessary for makingblogs.
However, if you have a domain thats making a lot of money, itsworth the extra few bucks.
Now, when it comes to hostingyour site, I also go with Godaddy. They have different packages, depending on how many sites you want to choose, and how much spaceyou need for your files.
There is also a site calledHostgator, which you can use for your hosting, theyre both prettygood.
It just depends on which one youprefer really. They both get the job done, and theres not muchdifference between the two.
When youre installing your site, Irecommend using Wordpress, because they make things a whole loteasier.
You are going to need to create adatabase, before you install Wordpress.
Getting ContentWritten
Now we are going to be talking aboutgetting fresh content written for your niche blog. I recommend thatyou write the articles yourself.
However, if you want you canoutsource the articles, and pay people to write them for you.
Go to Fiverr or Warriorforum tooutsource your articles, but if youre just starting out, I suggestthat you write them yourself, that way you dont need to invest anymoney.
When you start earning from yourblog, I suggest you outsource some of your content, this makesthings a lot easier. Only do this, when youre actually making adecent income from your site.
When youre writing articles, make sure that you are answering a lot of questions that peoplehave about your niche. Also, make sure that youre giving peopleinformation that they want to know about your niche.
I am going to tell you an excellentway that you can write articles quickly and answer peoplesquestions about your niche, and tell people what they want toknow.
So, try and follow this process verycarefully when youre writing your articles.
Go over to Yahoo Answers and type inyour niche name, in this example, my niche is the Golf niche:
Now, read all the questions thatpeople are having, and you should see that there are the samequestions being asked over and over again.
Get a piece of paper and write down alist of 5 top questions that people are asking about your niche andtry and write a short 300-500 word blog post about each questionthat people are having.
One of the questions that peoplekept having about the Golf niche, was How do I choose a GolfClub?.
So, I would create a blog posttelling people how to choose a golf club, and what they should lookfor when buying a Golf club and so on.
