Thereasons could be out of both parents control like death, militaryservice or abandonment. A fathers influence to the growth of a sonis crucial. Experts say that some infant development might behindered if a father is not around.
Absence of Bonding Moments
Most organizations concerned about the growthand development of children say that responding to a babys signalshelps in their social and cognitive development. The bondingprocess during infancy is established by answering to the babyscries, touching, making eye contact and talking to the baby. Lack of Social Skills

Reduce Risks of Substance Abuse or Alcoholism
Growing up with a good father figure can havea positive impact on your sons. Boys find a strong attachment to afather figure, whether biological or not. Having a male relative tolook up to prevents boys from turning to substance abuse, such asalcohol and other drugs.
Perform Better in School
Having a father figure in your sons life isa good thing, most importantly because a father figure providesproper guidance, especially in his studies. Boys who have theirfather's in their lives are able to perform better in schoolcompared to those whose father is absent.
