Did you enjoy this book?
I want to thank you and congratulate you for downloading the book, HTML and CSS for Beginners .
This book contains detailed information on what HTML and CSS are. It clearly explains what these two languages are all about, how they started, when they were developed, and what their purposes are. More importantly, it discusses the elements involved in both languages.
If you are new to programming, you will have no problem reading and grasping what is written in this book. The terms used are easily comprehendible even by people who are not used to using computer programming-related jargon. Even if it is your first time to create a website, you will also not be confused because the fundamentals are well covered and the steps you need to do are thoroughly discussed.
This book is also pretty short to be read in one sitting, but long enough to have every vital topic covered. Since you are a beginner, the examples included in this book are simple and basic. It covers just the topics you need to get started with programming and creating websites. There is no need for you to try writing codes that are complex. You can get to that once you are familiar with the fundamentals and already have an excellent grasp of HTML and CSS.
The elements of the two languages are discussed, starting from the fundamentals to the advanced. The most practical topics are covered to help you start coding right away. In fact, you can practice coding as you read the book.
There are basic sample programs that you can try on your computer. Type the codes and see how they run. You can also modify the codes to see their effects on the output. Feel free to tweak the codes to achieve your desired outputs as well as to get used to using the right codes.
There are also frequently asked questions (FAQ) that give you more insight on HTML and CSS. So, if you are curious about something but you do not have anyone to ask, you may see the answer in this book. The questions commonly asked by beginners are answered here.
This book also contains longer sample programs to help you understand HTML and CSS better. If you think that you can handle running longer programs, you can practice with the examples. They are not too long, but they are long enough to show you the differences that each block of code makes. This book also gives you tips with regard to what you should use and what you should not use when you write your codes.
The purpose of this book is to help you understand and know more about Web design and development using HTML and CSS. It is especially designed with a beginner like you in mind. In general, there are two types of people who would read this book: those who wish to learn how they can design and create a website from scratch and those who already has a website and wish to have more control over its pages.
In this day and age, everything is easily accessible. Thanks to the Internet, you can even create a website using the tools available online. There are free and paid versions, so you can make the most of your available options. You can create a website using an e-commerce platform, a content management system, or a blogging software. Nevertheless, you cannot have full control over it unless you make use of CSS and the elements discussed in this book.
That is the beauty of creating your own program. You get to decide every aspect of it. You get to have control of everything, from the start to the finish. You are the author of the program, so you have the power to tweak it according to your liking. You do not have to conform to someone elses rules because you can create your own. Whatever your imagination creates, you can turn it into reality.
It may seem daunting to create a website at first. This is especially true if you are not tech savvy or you do not possess much technical knowledge. All those lines of codes can make you dizzy and confused. You may even become fearful of crashing your own system if you make a mistake in your program.
Then again, the good thing about using HTML and CSS is that you can easily learn the languages even if you are a beginner and have no previous knowledge of programming. You can also test small batches of codes to see how they work. There are websites that allow you to test codes in different languages, making programming much easier for you.
HTML and CSS are not as complicated as other computer languages. They are perfect for anyone who has a basic understanding of how computers and the Internet work. HTML and CSS are actually great for young students who are just starting to write programs.
Whats more, you do not need any fancy or expensive equipment. You can create a nice website using a text editor and a Web browser both of which are already installed in your computer. If you want to find another text editor or browser, however, you can download one from the Internet. You have a lot of choices to choose from.
Understanding both HTML and CSS can help anybody who works with the Internet. Web designers can produce more usable and attractive websites while Web editors can produce better content. Likewise, Internet marketers can reach out to their target audience more efficiently while managers can commission much better websites and gain better results from their teams.
There is truly something for everybody with HTML and CSS. Also, if you are looking forward to a career in information technology, learning these languages would put you in a great advantage. Once you become adept at HTML and CSS, learning other programming languages would be a piece of cake.
Thanks again for downloading this book, I hope you enjoy it!
