  • Twelve (12) of slices Swiss cheese
  • Four (4) of tablespoons melted butter

For Russian dressing:

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • cup chili sauce
  • Two (2) tablespoons of bittersweet cream
  • Two (2) teaspoons of chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • One and half (1 ) tablespoons minced onion
  • One and half (1 ) tablespoons minced dill pickle
  • Half (1/2) teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • Half (1/2) teaspoon of mustard powder
  • Half (1/2) teaspoon of ketchup

Directions

1. Before you begin, heat up the oven to 350F.

2. Sprinkle the corned beef with some water and steam wrapped firmly in aluminum foil for some minutes in the oven.

3. Done that? Unwrap the rye bread and bake in the oven for about fifteen minutes, until you notice that the crust looks very crunchy. Remove bread from oven and set aside to cool for maybe five minutes.

4. When the rye bread is completely cool, slice into twelve pieces on a clean cutting board.

5. After that, take the corned beef out of the oven, unwrap it and expand each slice of bread with Russian dressing one after the other. Spread corned beef, sauerkraut, and slices of Swiss cheese covering half of the slices, and then top the sandwiches with the other slices.

6. Heat up two enormous heavy-sized skillets over medium heat. Spread butter on the bread. Let the sandwiches brown for about 7 minutes until you are satisfied. Then, turn the sandwiches upside down. Do the same with the other slices; make sure the cheese melts while doing this. Afterwards, cut each sandwich in half. And serve warm.
