SEO hasnt died, in fact the SEOindustry is booming and its bigger than ever, but it has been brought under theumbrella of Digital Marketing and this is where is deserves to be.
SEO needs to be completed for anyserious website, otherwise you are throwing good money down the drain for yearsto come.
If SEO is not performed on yourwebsite, your landing pages will not be optimised, which mean you will bepaying more for your PPC advertising.

Your Performance Grade shouldbe higher than 80 and your Load Time should be under 2 seconds.
If your performance grade ishigher than 80 and your load time is higher than 2 seconds, then your websiteis already doing pretty good, but even still, it can always perform faster.
On my own website, www.jamesmcarson.com before doing anyoptimisation on it, I am getting a Performance Grade of 81 and a load time of2.66 seconds on tools.pingdom.com
Thats not bad, but it could be aheck of a lot better. My website runs on WordPress, so here are a few thingsyou can do to make your WordPress site faster.
Some WordPress Plugins can causeyour website to run slow, so make sure and remove any unnecessary Plugins beforedoing anything else. Make sure you really need all the Plugins that youcurrently have installed by deactivating them and then deleting them.
