Introduction
For a third of a century, Allen Carr chain-smoked 60 to 100 cigarettes a day. Hed tried all the conventional methods of quitting, including willpower and nicotine replacement, plus a variety of other substitutes and gimmicks, but nothing worked.

I knew I was already a non-smoker even before I had extinguished my final cigarette and Ive never had the slightest urge to smoke since.
