INTRODUCTION

Manipulation is a technique that has been used since the dawn of time. It has always been used by governments and religions to make us do what they want.

However, this does not only mean that manipulation is always wrong. There are two types of manipulation. The positive and the negative ones.

An example of good manipulation is when a person manipulates us, but he does it for our good.

As could a food doctor or any other type of doctor do. They attack all our internal beliefs to make us buy the service from them. But they do it for our good.

On the contrary, governments and religions make completely different thoughts.

They want to manipulate you to ensure that you follow them closely and that you will not betray them for any reason.

They want you to think that there is just one entity to respect. To succeed in their intent, they use the pretext that human beings tend to believe the truth is just one.

This is how religion works, the stronger the signal it sends, the more its followers will follow it.

If there may be many gods to be professed, then there is not even one. It would not make sense. And to carry out an ideal for which we have been manipulated, the human being is willing to harm himself and others.

Just look at the wars for religion. They will never end as long as religions exist. This of course is an example of bad manipulation.

The same goes for governments. They try to calm the population by making many speeches of encouragement and positiveness towards the future to ensure that people do not rebel.

This happens during every political demonstration.

The elections have now become a war on who manipulates the most. Just look at how the last American president came to power.

We don't mention names but it starts with T.

Only after coming to power the scandal of the manipulation of the elections through Facebook and so on emerged. The problem is that these are the most visible types of manipulations but during our days we suffer an infinity of them.

Starting from our work environment where our colleagues use all kinds of techniques, although not intentionally, to make us do what they want.

Or the manipulation we get from television that is much clearer.

You do not realize it, but the advertisements change the market and shift the balance on product purchases.

Now I ask you a question.

Have you ever started humming a slogan and suddenly stopped thinking, where did I hear this? "

Most likely, you did it. Indeed, it will surely have happened to you. These things happen because we do not realize when what we hear affects our minds.

Maybe you heard it while you were cooking, and it came into your mind without you be aware of what was happening.

I give you dispassionate advice. Stop watching television. It does not bring you any advantage.

You will not be uninformed whatsoever, instead, you will avoid being conditioned and manipulated in everything you do. Many times people who want to manipulate us use the terror technique.

They instill in us fears or anxieties to make sure we follow everything they tell us to do. Can you think of an example?

The problem is that we follow them, but it's not entirely our fault. They are good at working on our subconscious and make it bring all our weak points to the surface.

People who are acquainted with manipulating all have very similar personalities. They have no morals, are selfish, and have no empathy.

All those people who manipulate you negatively have these characteristics and want to make you sink to get what they want. So if one of your friends, your partner, or more in general, you know someone who has these behaviors, then stay away from them.

They will only try to destroy you. The drawback is that you won't notice right away if you're with someone like that.

You have to train a lot to find these people.

Now, I want to give you some advice that will help you in your life. If you have such a person in front of you, don't try to change them.

You will only hit a hard wall that you will never recover, and you will continue to suffer the manipulations of this person for your entire life. If this is the case, let them go on their own way.

It may not be easy, I know that. But just this way can you save yourself from destruction. I want to tell you a part of my story to give you a concrete example.

I thought I had a great family but in a short time everything fell apart

You know when you had a dream as a child, like "I want to be an astronaut" or a footballer. Well, I had the same passion for medicine. The perspective of helping other people has always fascinated me.

Just think that when I was 12, I personally took care of my two dogs, Lucky and Lilla.

I loved them madly.

My parents had always supported me in this passion of mine until everything changed.

Apparently, it was a regular Tuesday and I had just returned from school. As soon as my parents saw me, they made me sit on the sofa at home to talk to me.

I immediately knew that nothing good would happen. My parents' faces were particularly gloomy.

My mother took the floor and said, "Joe, we want to divorce."

I stood as still as a stone.

My parents tried to talk to me, but I could not hear anything. I had never noticed that the situation in the family had collapsed. So out of the blue, my parents decided to end that relationship.

After my first moment of depression on my part, my father got depressed too. He started getting drunk every single day and spent all the money they had saved.

Do I have to tell you how long it took to spend all the money that was supposed to pay my medical studies?

Better not, you wouldn't believe it.

The family's savings ended as quickly as if a tornado has passed on the bank account. We weren't rich, but we had a little amount of money that would have financed my studies.

In a short time, my father has changed his attitude. He started manipulating me to make me do whatever he wanted.

I was still a boy and didn't understand what he was doing to me. I realized it was wrong, but I didn't know how to get out of it. He forced me to steal objects and made me do other horrible things.

So, as soon as I had the chance, I left that hell.

One day I met a person who was a magician on a bridge in my city. I stood there watching him, fascinated by what he was capable of doing.

I waited for the show to finish to ask him how he knew how to do all those things. "Simple," he said, then he added a sentence that I will never forget.

"The mind of the human being is made to fall into manipulation."

He smiled at me and walked away. I remained motionless, and those words were frenetically spinning in my head. I thought about everything I had been through.

From there, I made a promise to myself. I wasn't going to make people do what my father did to me anymore.

And here I am writing this book to help you not fall victim to the manipulation that you suffer every day, everywhere.
