PRAISE FOR THE LANGUAGE YOUR BODY SPEAKS

As physicians trained to only practice and value the objectivity of evidence-based medicine, we tend to dismiss the subjective aspects of healing things like intuition, the emotional realm, the flow of life force through our bodies, and the stories we tell ourselves which can make us sick or help cure disease. In medical school nobody taught me to pay attention to the unique language of my body or the bodies of my patients, to tune in to how sound, color, touch, my environment, my connection to the spiritual realms, or my thoughts, beliefs, and feelings might affect physical health. Lucky for us, Ellen Meredith picks up where evidence-based medicine leaves off, guiding us into the subjective aspects of healing with an obviously masterful synthesis of many healing methods that should be included in medical education but arent. For the scientists and skeptics, this book will be a stretch because this material is unapologetically unprovable. But for those willing to stay open to and curious about the art and mystery of healing, especially those whom evidence-based medicine has failed to help, this book is just what the doctor ordered.

CONTENTS

Imagine what your life would feel like if you could access the archives of knowledge that lie within the energies of your body. It would awaken something wonderful inside, an empowerment and sense of wonder and awe about life...along with gratitude and pure joy about the miracle of it all. Life would be better.

I love Ellen Merediths book, The Language Your Body Speaks. It is a great guide to understanding what we once knew organically as babies. Before we learned the language of words, we knew the language of energy. As babies, we were attuned to our own energies and the energies of our caregivers. This book can teach you how to know the language of energy again and even speak it!

Energy flows everywhere in and out of our bodies; it is the foundation for everything physical. It orchestrates everything in our lives, from emotions to digestion to getting ourselves out of bed in the morning and going to bed at night.

Without energy, our bodies would be like cars with no fuel. Without energy, we arent alive.

Ellen believes we are all storytellers, and she encourages rich dialogue with the stories we carry inside, which can inform and heal us. Physical ailments cannot be separated from your emotions and mental processes. We are body, mind, spirit, and soul. By deciphering the language of energy and uncovering deep meaning and answers to why your body is hurting or your mind is tormented, you will not only be freed from pain, but you will also learn the language to delve into your bodys mysteries forevermore.
