T his book, like all of my works, came about because of several factors. First of all, it's the direct result of the curiosityand the ensuing questionsof the thousands upon thousands of individuals I've read for over the years. It has also come out of research garnered from hundreds of people telling me about their life experiences and lessons. Then there's always my spirit guide Francine, who has been with me my entire life and has always been so helpful in "filling in the blanks."

Many people confuse spirit guides with angels. Well, angels are a separate creation of God that do not incarnate (nor do we ever become angels). This doesn't mean that they're any better than we are, they simply have a different calling and purpose. Angels are God's army of protection and assistance and were created to be helpers to humankind. All of us have specific angels assigned to us, and we can call on more at any time for additional needs in a given situation. (For more information on angels, please see my Book of Angels.) Spirit guides, on the other hand, are the kindred souls who were once incarnated on Earth and are now with us specifically to help us perfect, as Francine does for me.

To this day, everyone in the Sylvia Browne Corporation is a little paranoid about quoting Francine. That's because she related to me more than 60 years ago that if I ever used her words for my own gain, my psychic ability would be taken away. So when I'm quoting her, I always ask her to please correct me if I don't present the correct verbiage of what she's conveyed to me audibly or through trance. I do know that she's been of great help to me, and the knowledge she imparts has been one of the cornerstones of my organization's philosophy.

Let me be very clear here: Most of the information you're going to read in these pages (or have read in my other books) was not volunteered by Francine. On the contrary, the ministers of my Gnostic church, the Society of Novus Spiritus, and I will keep getting a particular question asked of us. When it gets to be almost overwhelming, only then will I go into trance so that my spirit guide can come in and give us the answer.

I don't think that any of us would even think of some of these questions unless others constantly asked us. It's amazing and almost telepathic that these queries come in clumps or sections. It's almost as if something greater than we are (hasn't there always been?) is trying to get this information across. It's not that we haven't known about the levels of creationin my other books, I've touched on them briefly, but it's nothing like the information we've begun to individually amass.
