Foreword

If you dare to read this entire book, it has the potential to create a hunger, or even more dangerous, a desperation for a new experience with God. I have learned that people with a fresh encounter become people you must encounter. David Edwards, the author of Mystify, is a spiritual son and a friend of God. In the past several years, I have noticed that Heaven is very attracted to him. And I can count at least a dozen times that signs and wonders follow Dave because he believes.

To be honest, if I read this book 25 years ago, I would have been a skeptic because of my strict conservative Baptist background and my theology. But during that time, Ive seen at least 100 supernatural signs and wonders that have strengthened my faith, given me courage, grace, joy, and shifted the atmosphere. The fruit of such encounters is that hundreds of thousands of names have been added to Lambs Book of Life.

I remember ten years ago when I returned home from a ministry trip to the Philippines with double pneumonia. During my hospital visit, they ordered a CT scan on my lungs and found a large tumor on my stomach the size of an apple. In the following months, I lost 46 pounds, and even worse, I lost my faith and hope. One week before my surgery, a spiritual son from the Philippines named Paul Yadao, flew to the USA to pray for me. After several hours of resting in the presence, the weightiness of glory filled my little office in Florence, Alabama.
