I have been through what feels like hell and back. In my younger days, it is safe to say I was living a life I wasnt too proud of, and then, through my experiences with travel and building a family, I finally found my passion. I am here to help you find the same thing. I am a 41-year-old, happily married father of two. Through finding my beliefs and talents, I found my passion was to become a personal trainer, and later to become an entrepreneur. I help people just like you to find their desires and give them the motivation to strive for the best life they can live. I specialize in self-discipline, communication, NLP techniques, psychology, motivation, and human behavior. This is my calling, and just like me, you can have many as well. At the age of 29, my wife and I had traveled to more than thirty different countries in Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa. Through these experiences, I really learned what it was like to live a satisfying life. I strongly believe I can teach someone like you to find your passion as well.

How to Use This Book
This book has a series of chapters that will ask you to take notes. Grab a pen and pad and jot down what you have learned and answer the questions effectively all the way through. If you feel discomfort, its a good sign. This shows you have reached the core of the issue. Start writing without judgment and criticism. Be sure to write whatever comes to your mind. A list of questions will be presented in the appendix at the end of this book.
Now, take a deep breath, because you are about to find out your passion and purpose. Whenever you feel ready, turn to the next page, and lets start this self-discovery journey together.
Chapter 1
Find Your Beliefs
If I have a belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning - Gandhi
B eliefs are inward judgments upon oneself. It is the certainty of what you believe to be true or false. Belief is kind of like morals, rooted deeply within yourself. A belief is mental, spiritual, and sentimental. What you believe in motivates your actions and drives you towards your ambitions. For example, believing in a cause will make you want to defend it. If you believe in a religion, you swear by it. If you believe in certain people, you support them. To believe is to act.
Does this sound familiar? Do you believe in yourself? I had this struggle a while ago, but I am here to help you get to where you need to be. We shall start by addressing those limiting beliefs that we all have. By figuring out what it is that makes you feel powerless to succeed, you can start working towards what will make you feel driven towards life. It is time to take control back and believe that you deserve better.
Replacing Limiting Beliefs
Self-limiting beliefs can stand in the way of your happiness and living the life you want and deserve. Lets go over a few common limiting beliefs that might stop you from pursuing what you truly want, and how to replace them by introducing new beliefs that will set you on a more positive path.
1. I Am Not Unique
New Belief: I am unique because I am in charge of my life.
Often, our mind tells us negative things that we should not believe. If we have low self-esteem, we tend to think about these negative thoughts. Know that you ARE unique. When we believe that we are not unique in our minds, we are usually comparing our lives to others. Battle these thoughts with the knowledge that your life is yours to live, no one elses. Be grateful for what you have now and understand that there is always a positive way to see the most negative outcomes. Remember that no one is the boss of you, and you are the one in charge.
Let me clarify this by giving you some examples. Here are a few questions to ask yourself Am I a kind person? Am I empathetic? Am I a good listener? Do I strive to do right by others? Do I have goals and aspirations?
If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, well, my friend, this is proof you are unique, and you should listen to these answers that scream out in your mind.
2. I Dont Know What I Want
New Belief: I am the product of my environment. I choose to take opportunities to make my own reality.
When you accept change, worrying is less likely to control your mind. I dont have to know my destination, just the direction I want to go. Start small and build a ladder on how to get where you need to be. I worked on learning to discipline myself, communication skills, negotiation tactics, persuasion techniques, being healthy through exercise, and I learned how to be flexible with my schedules. These things are universal skills that are needed to find passion.
