FOREWORD
BY DR. JOE VITALE
I love this book!
What a joyous reminder that the simple act of walking not only is good exercise, as well as a good meditation, but also is a great way to step into the rhythm of your soul and of the Divine.
I love the way the stepping-stone process is taught in this book because it makes it a no-brainer to want to get up and move, as well as a simple way to help manifest more of what you want, or let go of the baggage you no longer want.
I love that the process is a spiritual walking method turned into a game. How cool is that? Now walking has multiple benefits and is fun multiplied.
And I love that there are rhymes that you can sing as you move. Its so much more enjoyable and entertaining to walk and say lines such as these:
I see. Abundance is a part of me.
All good comes to me, Easily and continuously.
All good things come my way. All good things are here to stay.
I also love that this wonderful book includes ways to forgive, as well as ways to create, change your past, attract abundance, get answers, and more. The chapters are easy to follow and well written, and they actually motivate you to get up and out.
Thoreau, Muir, Rumi, and other great soul steppers would approve of this book and urge you to read it and practice it. As they knew and taught, walking is a path to your spiritual essence, and that path begins as you walk through the open door.
I am grateful to the author for writing this book, and delighted for you as you are about to embark on a soul stepping trek into your own deeper connection to All That Is, or what I often call The Great Something.
Expect Miracles.

PREFACE
My father considered a walk among the mountains
as the equivalent of churchgoing.
Aldous Huxley
When I was a very young girl, perhaps ages five, six, and seven, I used to walk with my father. Never the streets, always in the woods. We had miles of forest behind our house. Where the grass ended in the yard, an old, abandoned pipeline began, and from there, the trails into the woods. I never questioned, Where are we going? That was never the point. I just walked with my dad. The dogs and I would have followed him to the moon.
Even though I was just a child, I recall being very alert. I listened to the sounds of nature and to my fathers voice. We never talked about what was on our minds. We talked about the trees, always checking on their health, looking for rot. And about the birds. He knew the names of them all. We watched for rabbits. I thought I could wish them into being. I can distinctly remember the magic and joy I felt when one jumped out ahead of us. He told me about the history of the land, and once we found an arrowhead. I still have it.
He certainly did not lecture, and yet he gently instilled in me the gif of reverence for nature, animals, and the land.
My father died when I was eight years old. In the first few years that followed, I remember running, grief stricken, my German Shepherd on my heels, up to the paths in the woods. I think now, I must have been looking for him, or traces of him. I wanted to remember. I wanted nature to comfort my broken heart and answer the question Why?
I didnt know it then, but what I was doing, while seeking solace among the trees, was inviting a partnership with nature. And she responded. She took me in, wrapped me in her arms, and held me close.
This was a time when it wasnt necessary to keep a constant eye on the children. The forest was safe.
