A GUIDES GUIDETO MEDIUMSHIP AND HEALING

MY LIFE MYMEDIUMSHIP

About theAuthor

LorraineHolloway-White lives in the U.K. and is a natural born medium andhealer who fought against using her gifts for many years due to herreligious beliefs. Now at peace with them and accepting they areGifts from God she is using them to help others.

Lorraine hopesto help raise the standards of mediumship and healing as practisedtoday and will guide people on signs to watch out for when choosinga medium.

She has writtentwo other books, which her agents have sent to traditionalpublishing houses. This book is a taster for you to get to know herbefore they are published.

They are notjust for those who believe in psychic phenomena or the ways ofmediumship, as many sceptics have found them to be of greatinterest also. Maybe this is due to the fact Lorraine herself iscalled the sceptical medium. How can one be called a medium and yetremain a sceptic? The answer lies within these pages.

INTRODUCTION

In these pages, you will find the first chapter from each of my first two books(two chapters from the second book), together with certain blogposts from one of my sites called, A Sceptical Medium Lorraine and a special message from those in the world ofspirit. The chapters are just a taster to show what my books arelike. Whilst the first of the posts will explain how I am a mediumand yet still remain sceptical.

Now aged 55 Iam a natural born healer and medium that possesses many differentways of working within this field. I am not a spiritualist - I am aCatholic. On hearing anyone is a medium or healer, it isimmediately assumed by the majority of people that the personconcerned is a spiritualist - most natural mediums I knowarent.

I know manyspiritualists and the majority are good, kind and caring people whodo good works. Sadly, quite a few who believe themselves to bemediums and healers arent though and some of my friends areincluded in that number.

It is my wish, and that of my spirit helpers, to have the words of A GuidesGuide to Mediumship and Healing read by spiritualist churches, and any other groups saying mediumship can be learned, in orderthat their methods of teaching might be re-considered.

I believe inGod and that He gives these gifts to certain people so they canhelp others. You may call Him/it by any other name, but to me, thatis God. I realise not everyone believes in Him, but there issomeone or something far greater than any of us can hope to aspireto or understand about whilst of this world. It is also my beliefthese gifts cannot be taught.

A GuidesGuide To Mediumship and Healing is my first book and althoughwritten by me, it is filled with words and teachings as given fromthe world of spirit. They teach us about the ways of the world ofspirit and tell how the standards of mediumship and healing intodays world are being compromised due to todays way of teaching. They wish to see those standards raised, which is why they gave methe words to share with you all. On reading, A Guides Guide, youmight find the way it is worded rather strange. This is because itis words from my spirit helpers and not from me.

My second bookis, My Life My Mediumship. That is the story of the battleI had for years within myself when I realised I was different fromother people. It tells of my struggles to accept what I believe togo against the teachings of my church, the many experiences I hadwhen the spirit world were trying to get my attention to work withthem and how and why I eventually came to accept it all.

My literaryagents have sent my first book to publishing houses and we arewaiting to hear if anyone will offer a book deal to me. There aremore books to follow, so I am told, with in depth teachings of thevarious ways of working with those in spirit. They have explainedand given exercises within the first book, but say there is more tofollow on each category. I have no doubt these books will bepublished at some time as they wouldnt have given those words tome if they hadnt meant them to be read.

Although it issaid not all can be mediums, everyone can be psychic and developthat ability. They give guidance how this can be done in earlychapters. Although much of the rest of the book is to help naturalmediums and healers to develop, it is also for all to read as itteaches how to recognise who may be frauds and charlatans. Whensome of it was placed on a writing site for authors, it attracted alot of attention from sceptics who said they enjoyed thepracticality and no nonsense approach. It also answered many oftheir questions and they were interested to read more.

My blog, ASceptical Medium, has posts that are instructional as well asdiscussing my thoughts on many aspects of methods practised andtaught today. It is hoped that by putting together my blog postsfor you to read, it will give you a little taster of who I am andwhat my books are about. Several posts will have similar content asthey have been done on different sites over a couple of years, butnone is doubled up.

I hope youenjoy what is written in this book and would love to hear from anyof you. If youd like to comment or ask any questions, you can findme in the following places:

A GUIDE'S GUIDETO MEDIUMSHIP AND HEALING

By LorraineHolloway-White

26th January 2010

INTRODUCTION

It has been suggested that I put a little information at the startof this book in order for readers to know a tiny bit about me inorder to show what authority I have for writing it and to explain alittle about guides/helpers. They will speak to you themselves onthat matter in better words than I could ever use.

This book is in an easy to read style that will also appeal tothose who are not the usual readers of this genre, but who have anopen mind. It is an instructional book aimed at improving thestandards of mediumship and healing in order that practices usedtoday by some who are unscrupulous may be recognised and stopped. It will help all people awaken their psychic ability if they sochoose but more importantly will show that not all people can bemediums.

This is a book which, although ostensibly written by me wasinspired by those of the world of spirit and is written in theirwords. This may seem very strange to you and I have to admit that Ifind it pretty hard to accept myself. All I can tell you is that itanswers many questions I have about this subject and does notappear to be biased any one way or another.
