About the Author
Kathi Keville is a prominent American herbalist who has been working with herbs since 1969. Her books include Herbs: An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Herbs, Herbs: American Country Living, Aromatherapy: The Complete Guide to the Healing Art, Herbs for Health and Healing and Pocket Aromatherapy Guide. She has also contributed to eight other herb books, written over 100 herb articles for national magazines, and was Associate Editor for Well-Being Magazine. She has lectured throughout the United States, and has been on the staff of 10 teaching institutes. Kathi is director of the American Herb Association and editor of the AHA Quarterly, a founding member of the American Herbalist Guild, an honorary member of the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy and the American Aromatherapy Association. Kathi has operated an herb farm which grew and sold 400 different species of herbs for 14 years and now owns an herbal mail-order business.
