I used to joke with my wife that we could train our dog to be a ninja assassin if we truly wanted. Dogs can be trained to do just about anything. The keys are repetition and consistency.
Were similar to dogs in that respect. We can train ourselves to the point that were capable of accomplishing almost anything.
We can learn to speak new languages. We can learn to survive in the wilderness. We can learn to cook delicious, mouth-watering meals. We can learn to parallel park (no small feat for some of us!)
And we can train ourselves to adopt new, life-enriching habits that improve our long-term health, wealth, and productivity.
Thats the purpose of this action guide. Im going to show you the best method for creating positive, healthy habits. And importantly, Im going to show you how to make these habits stick.
Our habits define us. They determine who we are, how we work, and whether we achieve our goals. They dictate how we interact with others and relate to the world around us. Creating good habits is thus important if we hope to lead healthy, happy, rewarding lives.
