For the Scentuous Woman
brings out your hidden desires. It transcends the conscious mind; its hypnotic.
is like a seductive man it makes you heady and euphoric. But its also profound. Calming away melancholy and stress.
is a liquid face-lift. It brightens up the day or night like a ray of sunshine. A booster oil full of confidence.
gives emotional comfort and cossets you from the storm. Its sensuously feminine. Like wearing silk next to the skin.
is spicy and hot. Physically passionate. Vivid and wild. Good for carnival time!
For the Scentuous Man
relaxes deeply felt tensions and fears. Its sexually arousing and strengthening. Its for getting what you want out of life.
helps you make peace with the world and your woman. Its sweet, rich, and warm.
gives you harmonious strength and fortitude. It releases tension and aggression and relaxes the analytical mind.
has been for centuries presented to heroes and the victors of battle. It is distinctive and sexually arrogant. Not for the submissive!
is the philosopher. It brings peace and wisdom yet activates your energy. It can invigorate the mind like a walk through a snow-covered pine forest.
I wish to dedicate this book to my daughter, Emma Daisy, and my Scentuous friends who have filled my life with fragrance and beauty. To the unseen hands that gently and patiently guide and protect us all, may I say thank you.
A Special Thank You
A sincere thank you goes to sexologist Julia Stonehouse for sharing her invaluable knowledge and contributing specialist research. Julias encouragement in the face of adversity helped me to realize this book, and the importance of using the written word to reach many people, instead of lecturing to a chosen few. I never truly appreciated just how many lives would be touched and how many could be helped in this way. Julia is a truly fragrant soul.
Table of Contents The most beautiful thing we can experience is the
mysterious. It is the source of all true science.
Albert Einstein
L ike lovers, the jasmine flower responds to the moon. When the stars are shining bright on a warm summers night and the moon is at its zenith, the essential oil of jasmine is drawn inexorably upward so that its concentrated on the outer edge of the petals which quiver, happy, like lovers in an embrace. Jasmines perfume exudes, tempting her lovers into the perfumed garden to share her delight.
Love puts zest into our lives and zest puts life into the citrus fruit! Peel an orange to release its essential oil the zest from the rind that spurts out and stings your eye. But love can be dangerous, and nature can be too. In southern Europe the Diptan tree exudes so much essential oil its leaves can be set alight by a single match. Just one thoughtless move can destroy an entire forest as easily as it can destroy a human heart.
Scents & Scentuality is about aroma, romance, nature, and yes, sex. Its about attracting a particular sexual partner by using blends of natures essential oils. Its about relaxation and excitation, well-being and self-confidence, and creating a balance of body and mind.
We will learn about essential oils, the mysterious sense of smell, and about how molecules of aroma directly involve our emotions and memory, affecting the way we respond to each other. We will examine the eight processes by which natures essential oils work through the body/mind as aphrodisiacs. And you will learn how to release your vibrant Scentuous self.
Essential oils come from many different parts of natures plant life. They come from the rind of fruit, from leaves, petals, flowering tops, seeds, roots and underground stems, bark, and wood. Some plant species produce more than one oil from more than one part.
There could be over a million botanical species in the world were still counting them but not all are used in the production of essential oils. Nevertheless, we still use quite a few. In Europe alone five hundred plants are utilized, and although the majority of these are indigenous to small corners of the continent, many are imported and exported throughout the world.
