Do you want to learn how to lose weight and keep it off? As anyone who has been on a weight loss journey knows, the emotional ups and downs that come with it can be a rollercoaster. Weve all tried reducing calories, only to find ourselves gaining weight again and again. Well, I know I have. I know what it feels like to lose weight, only to gain it back again. Its frustrating, humiliating, and discouraging. But it doesnt have to be that way.

I want to share with you the most powerful combination Ive discovered for long-term, sustainable weight loss. Its a lifestyle Im calling Intermittent Fasting Keto diet.


The Magic of the Intermittent Fasting Keto Diet

On their own, both Intermittent Fasting and Ketosis are powerful tools to help you lose weight, boost energy, and feel better in your own skin. Combine the two, and youll find yourself dropping pounds and gaining a youthful vitality that will shine through your every pore.

There is a lot of magic that happens when we combine these two unbelievably powerful dietary tools.

First, let me talk a bit about Intermittent Fasting. Ive been incorporating this incredible tool into my life on and off for the last few years. Ive seen some pretty remarkable results. When I am fasting I feel that I am at my most healthy. I feel great, have tons of energy, and my digestion is perfect.

So what is intermittent fasting? Intermittent fasting refers to not eating for a short period of time, between 16 and 24 hours. When we fast for this short amount of time, we dramatically alter the chemistry inside our bodies. Its a simple way to give your body a break from digesting and give it some time to heal.

Normally, when we eat a Standard American Diet (SAD), we are eating high carbohydrate meals three to five times a day. Each time we eat, we have a corresponding spike in insulin. This insulin leads to glycogen storage, which, if we keep overeating, eventually leads to fat storage. In short, the way we eat is making us fat and sick.

But fasting gives our bodies a break. During this break, our insulin levels go down. If we fast for a long enough period of time, we run out of stored glycogen. Oh no! If we have no glycogen, we have no source of energy, right? Wrong. Our bodies have a second source of energy that it can use when no glycogen is available.

Ketones are a source of energy derived from fats. When we fast, our liver starts to turn our body fat into ketones. We increase our energy, boost our metabolism, and burn fat. When we fast, our body literally eats its own fat!

Once we eat another carbohydrate rich meal, this process stops, and we return to using glucose for energy.

But what if I told you there was a way you could keep eating filling, delicious meals while staying in this magical ketone state. Eating and burning fat? Its possible. And its name is the ketogenic diet.

The ketogenic diet is, simply put, a high-fat low-carb diet. If we eat a high-fat meal, our body stays in ketosis even when we arent fasting. So, even though we are eating food, we are still burning fat for energy!

If you follow this Intermittent Fasting Keto lifestyle, you get to eat food until you feel full and still burn fat. Does it sound too good to be true? I promise this really works. It is challenging, it isnt always easy, but it absolutely works. You have to make a commitment to yourself, to your body, and to Intermittent Fasting Keto. Ok, lets look at it this way. Eating a high-fat diet leads to high levels of satiety. Satiety is just a fancy word for feeling full. When you eat lots of high-fat foods, you feel full quicker and easier. This, in turn, makes it easier to fast. If you can commit to the lifestyle and avoid all the carbohydrate temptations, this is the dietary change that can help you lose weight and keep it off!

Sound like another fad diet? I know. I thought so too the first time I discovered this. I thought, how is this different from any other diet? It might work for six months, but eventually, I will plateau, and then I will regain all the weight. I really didnt want to go down that road again.


How the Intermittent Fasting Keto Diet is Different from Fad Diets

The Intermittent Fasting Keto diet is different from other diets in a few key ways. When you restrict calories for long periods of time, your metabolism plummets. When you try to return to eating 2000 calories a day, you gain back all the weight! Why? Because your metabolism stays low. Your body burns fewer calories after the diet than it did before.

This doesnt happen with Intermittent Fasting Keto. During fasting, our bodies go into overdrive and our metabolism actually goes up. Just imagine you are a prehistoric human. You havent found food in 12 hours. You are hungry. Will your body shut down? No, because you need the energy to find more food. You will have a boost of adrenaline and energy.

This is exactly what happens when we fast. Our metabolism increases, giving us more energy to get through the fasted period. Eating a ketogenic meal only boosts this process! So, unlike with calorie restricted diets, when we follow the Intermittent Fasting Keto lifestyle, we are able to improve our metabolisms and lose weight at the same time.

I realize that this sounds like a miracle plan. You may be thinking that I have no idea what youve been through. Youre hesitant to trust this new promise of a weight loss cure, and that makes perfect sense. Like I said earlier, Ive been there. So let me tell you my own journey first.


My weight loss journey

A few years ago, I was 70 pounds overweight. I tried eating a low-calorie diet and exercising more. Eat less, move more. That was how it works, right?

And it did work, at first. I lost 10 then 20 pounds, but I was hungry all the time. I was tired and my brain felt like it was constantly in a fog. My toes were always cold; Id shiver when no one else was shivering. And I was constantly hungry!

Eventually, I stopped restricting calories. I figured 20 pounds was enough weight loss for now. But what happened? As soon as I returned to eating a normal diet, the weight piled back on! I ended up heavier than I was before I started the diet.

I was devastated and humiliated. I was embarrassed to go out and I didnt want to have my picture taken. It took me a long time to deal with my weight gain. But eventually I learned to accept it, and I knew I needed to get healthy again. But how? I didnt want to restrict my calories only to gain even more weight!
