Masters and Virginia E. Johnson), personal interviews, plenty of hands-on trial and error, and two unscientific online surveys.
Using two anonymous online sex surveys, we gathered intimate information from approximately one thousand men and women.
The first survey was open for several months in 2009 and the second for several months in 2010. Many participants found the survey links at OystersandChocolate.com, an online magazine for literary erotica, so we assume that most, if not all, respondents were at least sexually open enough to read erotic short stories. Many of the colorful quotes, statistics, graphs, and charts in this book are extrapolated from this survey, but please keep in mind that we are not scientists, nor are we professional statisticians.
