This book is dedicated to my wife, Sharon, without whose love and gargantuan support I would never have been able to complete this project. The few times I ground to a halt, it was she and her smart suggestions that put me back on the road toward Energy Miracles. Also, to Martin Luther King, Jr., who taught me that one need not be a perfect man in order to dream great dreams and turn those dreams into actuality. And to Ron Hubbard whose interest in energy and molecular phenomena sparked my own.

Energy Miracles: The Global Warming Backup Planis a refreshing, non-political, novel approach to identifying both climate and energy issues of the world and offering a way to reverse and remedy them.

This book brutally and efficiently cuts through all the non-scientific hoopla often shoved in our faces on a daily basis, and presents us with the facts regarding our current, bleak state of polluted waters, air, and atmosphere. It shows the actual effects (such as rising seas) caused by emissions from power plants burning fossil fuels that weve, through the ages, come to depend on.

Im no Einstein, but luckily, one doesnt have to be one to appreciate this book. The author nicely pooled together a cross section of the scientific/electrical history that got us here in the first place, including the brilliant history of the worlds greatest scientists, researchers, and inventors as well as the paths of some of the misguided ones. And then he presents a way to innovate and lead the world to scientific victory over the problems caused by the current ways of producing electricity.

Ive been an electrical engineer for 30 years and I can say the fantastic conveyance of electrical facts and history contained in this book accurately identifies why things went wrong in the electrical-discovery world. The book is right!!!! We didnt learn diddly-squat about making electricity in college. We got taught only what to do with it once we had it. The actual operation of makingelectricity has always been taken for granted. We have a receptacle. We plug something in, and it works. I think most people trying to solve climate change today dont think beyond the receptacle.

Mr. Glushakow has left me inspired by not only highlighting energys history but shining a spotlight on the path to discoveries yet to be. Keep your eyes open as energy miracles are inevitable and may be helped along by Mother Earth herself. Often, more so than not, the answers are right in front of us.

The book should open a lot of eyes and though it is written to be understandable by general audiences, it should be made mandatory reading for all physics students and electrical engineers.
