Coffea is an important plantation crop with significant economic, social, and environmental implications. Because there is a surge in coffee research and new trends have developed, the aim of this book is to gather up-to-date information on recent trends in coffee commerce, biotechnology, post-harvest processing, quality improvement, and consequences of coffee consumption on human health. Altogether, the chapters are focused on five different themes. During the preparation of this book, we made sincere efforts to provide quality scientific information on the chosen themes on coffee. The chapters, written by the experts in their respective fields from 8 countries, provide vast coverage of areas on the topics, including the latest developments in the field. Each chapter has been presented in a stand-alone manner for all-inclusive understanding.
