T he May 2014 general election results was as per the public opinion. This was the first election of my life in which I wasnt just a voter but I also authored a book which was based on the collection of all the proofs and evidences from the courts against the busted allegations on Narendra Modi since 2002. When Ramdev began Parivartan Yatra in 2010 and Anna began Anshan in 2011, I was working for Nai Duniya as a senior reporter but as soon as I left the job in July 2012, Annas movement had somewhat faded but Baba RamdevsBharat SwabhimaanAndolan was still alive. While authoring my first book, I had a thought in mind to write a book on Baba Ramdev. I have closely witnessed the thick and thins of both the movements I mentioned above. The election results were declared on 16 May 2014, and within one month itself, I began working on the plot of this book and by June-July, I had completed the task of collecting the evidences.
To begin with I visited Patanjali Yogpeeth which is at Haridwar in 2014 for the very first time. There I met the main leader and in-charge of the Bharat SwabhimaanAnshan, Rakesh Kumar ji, he had read my first bookNishanepar Narendra Modi: Sazish ki kahani, thathyo ki zubani. This led to our friendship later. He was highly impressed by my work and introduced me to Baba Ramdev in January 2014. Swami ji was also quite impressed by my work and also appreciated it. Despite the fact that it was my first visit to Patanjali, the ambience was very familiar. When I shared my desire to write about Swami jis Parivartan Yatra, he said Swami ji and Acharya ji would never agree to it and then I told him that I was determined to write the book because I have covered the t entire movement very closely as a reporter but if he could help me with little documents it would be of a great help. He asked me, What kind of documents? I said I only needed information related to the dates of Swami Ramdevs journey and he agreed to provide that. The central in-charge Rakesh Kumar, Dr Jaideep, Dr Suman and the entire team helped me a lot in collecting the necessary documents. Apart from this, the personal secretary of Swami RamdevAjay Arya ji, the security in-chargeSudhir Dahiya ji, the personal secretary of Acharya Balkrishan Gagan ji and the media advisorSK Tijarawala, helped me a lot in obtaining information regarding relatives and acquaintances of Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishn. Not only this, they also arranged my meeting with Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishn so that I could take their signatures. I traveled a lot of times from Delhi to Haridwar; sometimes the purpose was fulfilled, sometimes it was not but I always got the support of this team. I am highly grateful to Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishn because they gave me their valuable time.
