Introduction
We live in aworld that is filled with never ending advancements in technology, allowing competition to accelerate in a variety of areas, includingthe gaming industry. This only makes endless battle for supremacyfiercer as gaming companies try to impress t gamers worldwide withtheir latest gimmicks. However, graphics is not one of the topconsiderations because the gameplay is what counts more. Someoneunfamiliar with Minecraft probably views it as a simplistic gamewithout much strategy, but they you gave it a try, they wouldrealize its worth as a highly complex game. This shouldnt beviewed as a bad thing, but rather as a challenge.
Learning aboutthe mobs is a critical component of surviving the game. You canhave a great time playing Minecraft without this knowledge, but itis a different story if you try to play on survival mode. Asidefrom encountering other players, there is a good chance that youcan run into certain monsters, which is why it is best to beprepared all the time. We have a lot to tackle including: knowingmonsters weak points to knock them out, where they spawn so thatyou can avoid passing through such places, their behaviour, whatthey drop, and, of course, how to counter their attacks. So, justsit back and relax as we discuss these pointers to ensure survivalin the harsh lands of Minecraft!
Chapter 1: EnemyMobs Bestiary
We will classify the monstersin the game by their health points, their type, their drops, and inwhat version they first appeared:
1. Bat If you want to spot a bat, you have to go into places where thelighting conditions are low because most animals want to blend intotheir environment. Although you might be able to see some bats inthe daytime, they are normally hanging and sleeping. They cannothang on to transparent blocks such as glass or on non-solid blocksas well. If you approach them on this state, you will wake them andthey will fly away.
Spawn You run into bats on the opaque blocks locatedbelow layer 63 or if you are in a light level of 4 or lower.
Health This creature has three hearts of health.
Type Bats are passive creatures, so they wont attackyou unless you hurt them first.
Drops It is unnecessary to kill bats because they wontgive you anything.
FirstAppearance Bats first appeared in version 0.11.0
2. Blaze As you play the game, you have to be careful to avoid runninginto these aggressive monsters that could jeopardize your growth.Their bodies look like they are covered in smoke; they are actuallyhollow or do not have a body.
Spawn They spawn in the Nether and in the NetherFortresses.
Health They have 10 hearts, so you can imagine howdifficult it is to fight off three of them at a time!
Type These creatures are hostile and are in the lookoutfor everything they see as a threat, so be very aware of yoursurroundings.
Drops They drop blazing rods, a major component incrafting brewing stands.
FirstAppearance Although these features have already beenconfirmed, fans are still waiting for the new update--0.120,--whereBlazes will appear.
3. ChickenJockey Chicken Jockeys are horrifying yet hilarious monster. We all know that zombies are not a good sight on any game, and herethey are the same, but with an added dose of the ridiculous. Twokinds of chicken jockey can be found: the Zombie and the ZombiePigmen, which are just basically two different types of zombiesthat are riding the same chicken.
Spawn You can see a chicken jockey in a Light Level of7, although there is no guarantee that you will find one; thismonster is created by chance. For every zombie spawned, there isonly a 25% chance of it becoming a chicken jockey. If there aresome chickens present, the chances increase to around 49%.
Type These creatures are hostile, just waiting fortheir opponents to be in their line of sight before theyattack.
Drops A chicken jockey cannot lay eggs like a normalchicken.
FirstAppearance These monsters were added on version 0.11.0, butrarely appear in the game.
4. CaveSpider We know that some spiders are venomous, and of course, dangerous. Cave spiders are smaller than regular spiders, enablingthem to fit inside half a block or slabs. You can create a cavespider farm, but it is a bit difficult because they have theability to climb over blocks.
Spawn You can find cave spiders exclusively inAbandoned Mineshafts, through monster spawners, or alternately, byusing spawned eggs in creative mode. You have to go at least lightlevel 7 and below to see them.
Health They have eight hearts of health, which ismediocre and can easily be beaten with good weaponry.
Type These creatures are neutral, which means that theystay put and dont harm anyone until someone touches them first. However, since they are found in Abandoned Mineshafts, which aredark, they are most active in such conditions.
