Acknowledgments
It would be impossible to include everyone who deserves thanks for this book, but I will give it a hearty try. I would be remiss to not acknowledge the impact my time at Penn State University and more specifically the Technology Club had on my career. Being President of the Technology club allowed me to explore cybersecurity, make lifelong friends, and meet industry leaders that have continued to be a huge part of my success. Additionally, I want to thank Patrick Laverty and the Layer 8 Conference for sponsoring my ticket to attend their conference as a student and to Trace Labs for being my first introduction into the world of OSINT.
My voice in the OSINT community would not have been quite as loud without the OSINT Curious team taking a chance on me. When I was added to the board of OSINT Curious it felt as if I had finally made it. Thanks to Ritu Gill for reading through the book and providing countless hours of feedback and insight.
A very special thank you to my Deloitte team for being such brilliant and talented people who are always rooting for me and constantly teaching me new things. To Neal and J.P., I will never forget the lifechanging opportunities and guidance you have provided. Anna and Justin M, I could never thank you enough for the many nights you read through my book and offered feedback in addition to the unwavering moral support for my wild ideas that you both provide.
I truly believe I would not have finished this book without the help of Espen Ringstad my technical writer, support person, and good friend. Espen spent an immeasurable amount of time reading my drafts, providing feedback, and just listening to me complain. While projects like this can be a strain on friendships, I believe that ours is stronger because of it.
The OSINT Community deserves a special thanks as well for being a safe space for people who want to learn and grow. You welcomed me with open arms and allowed me to share my love of OSINT, you became my friends, and for that I will always be grateful.
Even with all of my work, this book would still be a pipedream if not for the amazing Wiley team who made this process so easy including Jim Minatel who took a chance on my crazy idea for an OSINT book, Pete Gaughan for being an extremely supportive Editor, and Shannon Jade for your kind and insightful feedback along the way.
