Basil, Rosemary and the Pansy sisters lived togetherin a bright orange flowerpot. The pot sat on a windowsill outsidethe zoo's cafe.
Albahaca, Romera ylas hermanas Pensamiento vivan juntos en una reluciente maceta decolor naranja. El tiesto estaba en el alfizar de la ventana fuerade la cafetera del zoo.

In front of theplants was a black road painted with white stripes. Visitors whocame to the zoo walked over the white stripes when they crossed theroad.
Enfrente de lasplantas haba una carretera negra pintada con rayas blancas. Losvisitantes que venan al zoo caminaban sobre las rayas blancas alcruzar la carretera.

"It is veryboring," said the Pansy sisters. "We have beautiful bright colours.That animal is just black and white and boring!"

"Of course itis a chameleon!" Said the Pansy sisters who always knew best. "Achameleon can change colours to hide. What else can do that?

"That sounds fun," laughed Basil, "let's call him over."

Eh! Camalen!grit Albahaca.
Camalen no hizo nada.

Chameleon wandered over to the cafe and looked at the cheeky littleplants.

The plants wereabout to disagree when a woman rushed out of the cafe.
"Zebra! Get out of here!" She shouted. "Don't touch my prettylittle flowers!"
Las plantas estabana punto de discutir cuando una mujer sali corriendo de lacafetera.
Cebra! Fuera de aqu! grit. No toques a mis pequeas bonitasflores!

Chameleon, theZebra, turned to go. As he went, his tail swished and knocked thelittle orange flowerpot off the windowsill.
Before the pot hit the ground, the zebra gave it a mightykick.
Camalen, la Cebra,se dio la vuelta para irse. Cuando se marchaba, su rabo se agit ygolpe la pequea maceta naranja fuera del alfizar de laventana.
