Brace yourself for upheaval and transformation in the next five years.
Total solar eclipses seem to trigger seismic events upon the lands and seas their shadows touch. On 21 August 2017, the lower 48 states had a solar eclipse draw its mysterious darkness of 90 to 100 percent totality over four of some of Americas most dangerous seismic and tsunami-generating quake zones. They are the Cascadia Subduction Zone in the Pacific Ocean along the Oregon, Washington and British Columbian Coasts; the dormant supervolcano in Yellowstone National Park; the New Madrid Fault Line in Missouri near the Mississippi River; and finally, the earthquake-prone Charleston, South Carolina area along the Atlantic Coast.
If the pattern of seismic activity seen in the Great Eclipses of 1999 and 2009 is repeated in the Great American Eclipse of 2017, then either one or a series of potential major quakes of magnitude 6 to a megathrust of magnitude 9 could happen a week to three months after the eclipse. A second wave of seismic episodes of the same potential magnitude could follow 8 to 18 months after the eclipse. Less frequent but no less damaging episodes of quakes and tsunamis could take place as late as 2 to 5 years after the moons shadow on 21 August 2017 had touched future epicenters inside these four seismically sensitive zones.
Cities and towns across the United States, even in the earthquake prone West Coast areas, are woefully unprepared for such natural disasters. If only one, two or all four seismic zones become active after the eclipse, the devastation could bring the greatest superpower in history to its knees through a string of natural disasters.
Great earth change prophets like Edgar Cayce, Ruth Montgomery and Nostradamus have accurately dated and located future history-altering earthquakes and tsunamis. They have also tried to warn the world to prepare for and survive future upheavals, not only of earth and ocean, but financial, economic and political quakes soon to challenge the most powerful nation on Earth as if it were fabled Atlantis from mythological timesthe advanced and militarily unstoppable island hegemon of pre-history, laid low by natural catastrophes.
Is America, by coincidence or mysterious Fates intent, about to suffer a repeat of what took down the Atlanteans?
World-renowned prophecy scholar and Nostradamus expert John Hogue will take us through a journey mixing seismic evidence with prophetic and astrological forecasts that will try to illuminate what will really happen, if anything, following the moons shadow passing over America, from sea to shining sea.
The Great American Eclipse came at a time of significant astrological portents that not only could bring a life-changing experience to President Donald Trump but also to 330 million Americans.
America is stuck and something has to give. Political fault lines in polarized Washington DC and fiat faults grinding out economic fantasy must rock, roll and rent.
Earthquakes can be a creative catalyst for unexpected uplifts of national attention that rethink, redefine and rebuild America for the better. This eclipse may mark the overshadowing of American hegemony over the world, yet John Hogue will share hopeful prophecies indicating that Americas greatest and happiest days are ahead, once American is no longer burdened by being a superpower.

INTRODUCTION

Evil Forces in the Moons Shadow?

Every Superstition

Has a Kernel of Truth

While living in India off and on from the 1980s to the early 1990s, I became aware of Hindu folktales warning people not to go outdoors during total eclipses. The shadow of the moon opened a portal for evil cosmic forces to descend out of the skies. Malefic consequences would be had by anyone or any place under the moons absolute darkness wreathed in the suns glowering corona.

In earlier times many villagers retreated from their bazaars and fields, locking themselves away in shuttered shops, huts and houses or went to pray in temples, until the sunlight returned to warm where the cold shade of totality had touched.

I certainly do not fear or freak at the fading light or darkness of eclipses. Far fetched from scientific fact as such wives-and-chai-walla tales might seem, no superstition is complete and incredible balderdash. It can be the honest misread of an innocent ancient who had only his awe and none of the buzz-killing skepticism of objective science to rain on his supernatural charade.

Perhaps the sudden chill of a total eclipse shadow overtaking you is not some bogey spirit freed by evil rays to cold you over, like someones walking over your grave. The daytime animals go to sleep while the night owls open their eyes. An owl summons a threatening hoot. The irrational would project an idea that a magic-satanic power was feeding ones childhood fear of the dark with an ever expanding bite of blackness taken out of the sun that the moon devours overhead to cloak the world in unnatural night.

If poked by science holding the needle of reason, it would say your chill is just a temperature change. Your evil is only a moons shadow lit by the sun. It will pass and the sun will warm you again. The daylight world suddenly going dark and bringing out the stars for a few minutes is no act of a demon, just an accidental result, making some animals momentarily think its time for bed while nocturnal creatures wake up, hooting a what the f**k diurnal interruption is this?

Science can explain mysteries away, but rather than dispel them, like trimming a shrub, the scientist just makes the mysteries bushier. Science in the hand of frail, all-too-human egos can make assumptions in a haste to banish a bogey away in the service of another, more modern blind belief, the presumption that we are rational beings. A warped notion of rationality is a needle of truth in the unconscious minds haystack of programmed givens.

Maybe there is something evil or perhaps only judged as such in reaction to what may be an as-of-yet unexplained phenomenon at work, like seismic events becoming more frequent and deadly wherever the shadow of the moon during a total solar eclipse touches the Earth in near (penumbral) or complete (umbral) darkness. Big seismic events can be devastating and certainly scary and when you have at your disposal a whole haystack of irrationality to draw conclusions from, there also lies somewhere in that hay pile of projection a needle of simple truth positing a cosmic cause that is neither demonic, evil or divine, just something natural. Quakes arent evil. They just scare us while they build, raze and build again this beautiful world. Perhaps cosmic forces have their part in this great construction project as well. Was not the world born out of cosmic dust and star stuff?

The spooky is our projection, in place of evidence. Until it is forthcoming, we go on projecting our fears on the unknown and conjure up some irrational excuse, like a divine omen or evil cosmic mischief upon it.

Once upon a time, 18 May 1980 to be exact, Mount St. Helens in Washington State famously blew off 1,312 feet of its 9,677-foot summit. In the next instance, its northern slope completely collapsed in a lateral explosion and killer earth slide becoming the deadliest and most economically destructive volcanic event in the history of the United States to date. Even in such a sparsely populated area, 57 campers, loggers, photographers, one crusty old inn keeper and a handful of seismologists on instrument watch were burned and buried under a pyroclastic hurricane blast extending over the neighboring mountains and hills north of the volcano in a radius of eight miles (13 kilometers).

The channelized blast zone extended the devastation further to a 19-mile radius. It did the lions share of laying down and mostly destroying 4,000,000,000 board feet (9,400,000 meters) of potential lumber either vaporized or taken down in pine tree forests laid low like wheat exposed to the sweep of some great devils sickle from the force of the lateral explosion. Rivers a moment before that had carried runoff from Mount Saint Helens glaciers were soon after breaking out of their banks, choked with uprooted trees. All the salmon in the rivers plus anything else living were cooked in the swollen flood of hot and steaming mud floes that vomited their volcanic gray ruin into the Columbia River 50 miles away.
