This easy-to-learn Kahuna exercise

is fully described below .

I was involved heavily in the world of mind-power and was the head of a mind-power research foundation. In true Aussie fashion we had made a few startling discoveries which when publicized had attracted the attention of various scientific organizations overseas.

An invitation arrived o ut of the blue to join a group of researchers in Hawaii to investigate this somewhat puzzling doctrine called Kahuna.

I had read excerpts from various books written by well respected scientists reporting magical cures attributed to some of the Hawaiian Kahuna practitioners, such as healing broken legs overnight but naturally took these with a grain of salt despite the credibility of the authors.

I had experienced a broken leg myself some years earlier after a rough parachute landing and it took a good 3 months to heal so I didnt see how this process could be reduced to 24 hours!

Nevertheless I decided to accept this invitation and in due course made the 8 hour flight to Hawaii.... in economy class. The result a severely aching back when I stepped off the aircraft.

We were met by representatives of the Kahuna operators and taken to our motel and were told to check-in then meet on the beach in front.

There were about a dozen of us and this elderly Kahuna gentleman greeted us individually then told us to take off our shoes and socks so our bare feet were in direct contact with the sand. He then led us through a simple but specific Kahuna process which I will remember for the rest of my life.

He placed us facing the setting sun with our left foot forward. Then he proceeded to teach us a simple body rocking process accompanied by a specific train of thought and visualization.

This was all brand new to me. After a few simple practice runs we commenced the exercise properly and I noticed it took 8 minutes to complete.

At the finish he told us to stand up straight and take a few deep breaths.

I was somewhat intrigued to notice that everything around me appeared to sparkle, almost as if I was looking at the atomic structure of the scenery. I felt totally different but I couldnt put my finger on the reason for this. My clarity of vision was quite unreal and this effect lasted for over 1 minute. He then asked us how we felt.

One of the other participants commented that he felt great because his backache had disappeared. Then it struck me.....my backache had gone also and a third participant mentioned the same thing. We al l looked at each other slightly stunned. I had planned to visit a local chiropractor but now there was no need.

The other thing that the instructor mentioned was that if we did this exercise every morning we would be unlikely to ever have another cold. That is.... we would be cold free.

After the course was over and I had returned home I did this exercise faithfully for almost 6 months then, like many others, let it drop for a while. I kept promising myself to re-start it but delayed that until I caught a serious cold which kept me from work for almost a week. During this illness I re-started the Kahuna exercise and the cold cleared magically within a few days with no sniffling after effects. All this happened over 10 years ago and the Kahuna seems to prevent me catching colds and flu. When I stop these exercises I catch flu like everyone else.

I figure that the 7-8 minutes per morning is worth it to keep healthy.

The idea is to do this exercise in bare-feet preferably outdoors on the grass or sand. But at times I have done it indoors and it seems to work just fine. The instructors told us that we should be facing the morning rising sun and later on you will understand the reason for this.

Occasionally I have done this exercise late afternoon during the setting sun and it seems to have the same effect. In fact I notice th at when I do this I tend to experience a good nights sleep.

A lot of individuals have trouble getting to sleep and this evening program definitely helps.

In fact there is another method of getting to sleep which Ill explain here as it is an almost sure-fire cure for insomnia.

Just before you go to bed have a brief warm shower and drink a small glass of warm water or milk. This is to make your body and stomach feel comfortable and tends to prevent those distracting body i tches which keep you from relaxing .

Then lie back in bed with the lights out and just relax. Let every muscle in your body relax, one by one. After you have done this for a few minutes you do something totally different....

Clench every muscle in your body. Clench your eyes, mout h, stomach, arms, legs, feet and all other muscles. Clench everything tightly and hold it for as long as you can..... preferably for 1-2 minutes.

Then ..... LET GO.

The absolute relaxation you suddenly feel will drive you straight down into alpha and theta.

It is highly likely that the next thing you notice wi ll be the morning sun shining after a great nights sleep.

BACKGROUND TO THE KAHUNA PHILOSHPY.

Before I start on the actual magical Kahuna exercise Ill mention briefly the background to Kahuna.

The Hawaiian Kahunas are usually teachers, priests and specialists with a somewhat remarkable healing ability and unusual mental powers. They can be male or female and are attuned to the spiritual side of life due to their intensive training. Kahuna h ealing is an energy healing system based upon ancient Hawaiian shamanic wisdom and methods.

It uses natural focussed energy to heal the bodys problems. Some miraculous well documented cures have been achieved and for this reason the Kahuna process is often considered the best of the energy healing methods, of which there are literally dozens.

They believe that you create your own future in your minds image. That is, what you visualize and mentally project is what you eventually become. They believe that you must pick only one major goal, not a multitude of them. Concentrated visua lization and focus is the vital step towards actual realization . This is one of the more important aspects of the Kahuna method. The trick is to avoid distracting and negative thought patterns emerging while you are focussing. It is very easy for the mind to become side-tracked and start wandering off into negative territory. While you are doing your visualizing verbalize your desires out loud by speaking them softly to yourself. This is an added reinforcement as it adds an extra dimension.

The Kahuna instructor offered a suggestion to reduce or remove negative, destructive emotions and thoughts. He explained the simple process so that we all understood it.

I was to visualize all the things that seriously annoyed me, one by one. I then picked up this event and placed it in a large box.

I did the same with all my other negative event s until the box was full. Then I lifted up this carton and walked over to the edge of a large ocean-front cliff. I heaved the box over and saw it smash to pieces on the rocks below, after which it was swept away by the waves.

I did this exercise for several weeks and started to notice a serious difference in my attitudes.

The previous negative events seemed less important and I didnt dwell on them so often. In fact every time I thought of one I suddenly remembered that I had thrown it away.
