What you are about to read encompasses my experiments with the deeper Theta and Delta states over quite a few years. At that time I was the CEO of the Australian Mindpower Research Foundation and some of my staff members also experimented with these brain states. We eventually worked out a safe way to handle these lower frequencies and the sum of our comb ined knowledge is explained in this publication. There are a number of serious research organizations throughout the world who carried out similar experiments but in general they have not shared their results with members of the public who are interested in mindpower. However the philosophy of my research group was to pass this information on to all those interested.

Theta waves occur in the 4-7 Hz range. (Some authorities claim the 5-8Hz range.)

Theta is actually the crossover between the conscious and the subconscious states, and by learning to use beta wide-awake consciousness coupled with theta trance state simultaneously we can access and influence the powerful subconscious part of ourselves that is normally inaccessible to our waking minds. While in the theta state, the mind is capable of producing profound learning and healing results. It is also capable of manifesting profound changes in your material world.

The countdown to Theta is fully described in my Teach Yourself Theta publication and you need to become familiar with this before practicing advanced states .

I have considered for years that it would be unwise to teach the delta technique because of expe riences I personally had when I was experimenting with the 1-2 CPS (cycles per second) range. This range caused me a certain amount of personal grief which took a while to overcome. The Delta state is considered to encompass those brain frequencies below 3 Htz. (3 cycles per second).

Since those days I use theta virtually on a daily basis and usually work in the 3- cps range but occasionally I can feel myself drop lower into delta. I get the impression that I drop to the 2 3 cps range and this has caused me no ill effect. In fact it is a totally magical state as I am, in effect, my own hypnotist! It definitely feels better than the higher theta states of 5-6 cps.

With this experience behind me I introduced a basic delta course to s elected students about 2 years ago and none of them have reported any ill effects. The course you are about to read incorporates advanced techniques but you would be unwise to attempt to drop below the 2cps frequency state. The danger appears to lie in the 1 -2 cps range which is where I was initially experimenting. I monitored my frequency state on a 5 channel EEG machine so I always had in front of me a pictorial live picture of exactly where I was at.

Doing any sort of advanced Delta work requires considerable care and you will need to read my Teach Yourself Delta before progressing onwards. Deep D elta is rather like fiddling with the core memory of your computer and unless you know exactly what you are doing you can insert the wrong commands. Unlike the computer however the mind tends to sort itself out over time so any wrong commands tend to neutralize themselves eventually.

However you should not use deep Theta or Delta if you have a nervous disposition or are subject to occasional hysteria. You must be mentally stable and in control to use these deeper brain states effectively.

When our research group first started experimenting with Theta many years ago there was little information available. The internet was only in its infancy and it was very difficult to purchase authorative books on the subject. Even the major overseas booksellers stocked very little of this material so we were left on our own to figure it out the best way we could. As it turned out this was the best possible outcome for us as we had to invent our own methods and came up with a whole lot of new techniques.

For example I discovered that when I was in one of these very low trance states I found it extremely difficult to move my arms. I was very surprised to find that if I gave my mind the instruction.... My arm will move to scratch my itchy leg then it worked. Having been a stage hypnotist in my earlier days I recognised what was happening here. I was actually in a self-hypnotic state and was able to give myself commands. Exactly the same thing happened if I wanted to open my eyes to observe the reading on the EEG machine which was placed right in front of me. I could force my eyes open to look at it but it took a lot of effort. If I gave myself a command to open my eyes it happened instantly with no effort. And this is where I discovered something very strange indeed. If I gave myself a command to close my eyes then that happened effortlessly. But if I simply forced my eyes shut my stomach jerked quite violently. This happened every time and I have absolutely no explanation for it but I eventually concluded it was probably something to do with the stomach Chakra.

One thing that was quite critical at these lower frequencies was that I had to do these exercises in a very quiet environment. I turned the phones and fax off as sudden noise could send me into a light state of shock. My staff reported similar problems.

At one point while I was lying on a settee in the office my secretary accidently brushed against my foot as she walked past. I woke up in some sort of shock and she received quite a shock herself when she saw my face. In fact she burst into tears. She said that it looked like I had just seen a ghost as I was dead white. It took several minutes to recover and we made sure that this would not happen again.

I did these experiments at approximately the same time each day, usually about an hour after lunch when I was feeling slightly sleepy anyway. This got my body rhythm used to the process and I believe it helped considerably. Also it was the quietest time of the day from the point of view of business phone calls, etc.

The body naturally feels a little sleepy after lunch as it is working hard to digest the food.

I also used this deeper state to practice my Remote Viewing techniques and found I achieved better results far quicker also. It was easier to access the target and I seemed to connect more thoroughly with the matrix. Some of the RV mental pictures were very lifelike and at times it was almost as if I were present at the target site. Also I could give myself hypnotic commands to move around the target and view it from different angles. I found all this rather awe-inspiring.

The trick appeared to be getting the body comfortable first. We developed the habit of taking a quick warm shower (no soap) just to wash the irritants off the body. We all took a small calming drink to make our stomachs feel happy and relaxed. In my case I had a small glass of warm milk. One of the staff had a glass of beer which apparently worked fine for him. Then when we went down into our trance states our bodies didnt itch and our stomachs felt fine. Any form of itch is guaranteed to keep you away from the Theta state!

We all focussed on our breathing first. That is, we became fully aware of each breath we took. As we expelled we said to ourselves...... Relaxing ....going deeper and deeper.

It got to the point where within the first few breaths we could feel our tension washing away and the individual muscles in our bodies letting go. This was a very satisfying experience as we knew we were triggering the trance state quickly. In fact at the end I could dro p into medium Theta within 60-90 seconds and access Delta within 3-4 minutes.

One of the staff had t rouble maintaining conscious awareness initially and tended to drop off to sleep. She solved this by having two large glasses of warm water before commencing and within 15-20 minutes she became aware that her bladder was filling up. This background noise kept her conscious and didnt seem to affect her Theta states. The moment she finished the exercise she rushed off to the bathroom which usually made the rest of us smile but the thing is it worked for her!
