Right here at the beginning Id like to say, if this is your first angel book, welcome. If its one of many, welcome back.

Since the first edition of this book was published, my life has changed dramatically. Having a column in a national newspaper was one thing, but having your life story and experiences published internationally definitely brings a lot of attention and responsibility. Over the last three years, Ive been blessed with opportunities to share my work all around the world. Ive received thousands of handwritten letters and emails of gratitude and angel experiences it truly has been a blessing.

One of the most intriguing things about this book is the fact that many of the people whove read it have told me it almost came alive for them. Countless people have said that the inside of the book would light up in an ultraviolet blue colour as they were reading it. Others experienced goosebumps as if someone was standing beside them as they read it in bed and one lady was adamant her copy was producing feathers.

What really pleases me today is that belief in angels is growing. We live in a crazy world sometimes and we never know whats going to happen next, but knowing I never walk this path alone has really helped me and I know its the same for so many other people.

Sharing the ideas and information Ive learned about angels gives me so much pleasure. The fact is that everywhere we go, there are angels with us. Right now, as you read these words, theres a being of unconditional love gazing at you. They absolutely adore you, and every time they look at you, they love you even more.

Angels are real. Theyre here right now. When you choose to arrive, theyll be there with you. What I mean by that is that many of our thoughts are in the past, or the future, or in our worries, and its when we breathe, relax and move into our skin in the here and now that we feel the presence of angels.

One thing Ive learned about life is like attracts like. When we think and act in certain ways, well experience our life on a similar level. So when it comes to wanting to experience angels in our life, we have to be an angel. Of course there are times when well be faced with challenges and things we cant change, but if we act with integrity, angels will absolutely lead us along our path.

I like to imagine angels as strong beings loving and forgiving, but also knowing when to say yes and no. They have an energy that can be fiery but is never forceful, and they know love better than anyone I know.

Finally, as this is the second edition of my book, Id like you to know that Ive changed some content, because as Ive grown, Id like everyone else to grow too. In particular there are new insights on life purpose and experiencing signs from heaven my prayer is that these new ideas will strengthen your connection to angels.

I woke up in the middle of the night. It was dark and it was quiet, but I wasnt anxious. I was only four years old, but I wasnt scared at all. How could I be when the person I loved more than anyone in the world was sitting beside me, making sure I was fine?

I adored my nana (grandmother) and I knew that she adored me too. Whenever I was frightened or upset, shed stroke my arm until I was comforted. Shed hug me and tell me she loved me, and I always felt that everything would be fine as long as she was there.

Things had been different recently. I knew that Nana had fallen ill because shed had to move in with us so that Mum could take care of her. My playroom had been emptied of all my things and turned into a little bedroom and living area for her. I didnt know what was wrong with her, but all of the grown-ups were very serious whenever it was discussed and I did realize that sometimes she couldnt breathe properly.

When shed moved into my old playroom, Id been glad; it was just next door to my room and Id been excited about her being so nearby. Id thought she could play with me all the time and pop in to read me bedtime stories.

It hadnt worked out like that.

Nana had had to get a wheelchair and after that she hadnt been able to go anywhere by herself. She hadnt been able to manoeuvre through the narrow doorways of our house and get from her room to mine and her breathing had been getting worse. The week before, shed been taken to hospital, and when wed visited she hadnt really seemed like my nana. Shed still had on one of the fluffy bed jackets she always seemed to wear these days, but shed been very tired and hadnt been able to do anything. Shed smiled when shed seen me, and said, Theres my boy! when Id run in to her, but wed had to leave quite soon as shed needed to rest.

Now I was so happy to see her. She was wearing one of those bed jackets, so I thought she must have come home and sneaked out of her room to see me. It was good that she wasnt in her wheelchair anymore and she looked so happy to be with me as she sat there on my little bed. In fact there was a strange sensation in the room it was almost as if I could feel the love coming from her.
