What is a side hustle? Its simply something that allows you to earn some extra money on the side. Think about it as a hobby that puts money in your pocket instead of taking it out. Then, we will cover strategies for maximizing your rate of savings from this job to put toward your freedom fund, assuming you want to follow in my footsteps one day and quit your job.

My side hustle of financial content on YouTube as well as blogging has taken me from working in a cubicle in upstate New York to becoming a millionaire in my mid-twenties. Everyones characteristics for what they are looking for in a side hustle tend to be a bit different. What I was looking for with my side hustle, above all else, was freedom. In order to have that, I needed to be able to replace my income from my job, not just supplement it. Ill show you how I accomplished this step by step in a chapter on scaling your side hustle. Next, I will cover the important topics of hedging, diversification, and even selling your business. I know this may sound like a distant goal, especially if you havent even started a side hustle. However, there are important considerations to be made on day one that can significantly impact the salability of your business.
