PRAISE FOR LOVE AT FIRST FIGHT
Love at First Fight is a delight! My husband and I read parts of it together, and we both laughed out loud at Dena and Careys first-person narratives. Having enjoyed our own marital adventure for thirty-seven years, we could well relate to the different issues and discoveries that the authors share from their own marriage; the prayers, advice, and questions to consider all rang true and offer a valuable resource to any married couple who want to make their marriage relationship the best it can possibly be.

Real, honest, funny, and fun. This devotional looks at the differences between men and women and the little things we argue about. It includes his point of view and hers with stories from their lives. The questions for couples are an excellent ways to start a conversation with your spouse and learn about each other without arguing. This practical book would be fun to talk about on a date, read as an evening devotion, or share it with your spouse as you make a cross-country trip. I highly recommend Love at First Fight to strengthen marriages and avoid some of the conflicts couples often face.

Research suggests that we are more open to learn new concepts (and even retain them better) when we are having a good time. And a good time will be had by all with Carey and Dena Dyers new devotional Love at First Fight. Transparency is funnywhen someone else does it. And the Tips from the Pros close out each topic with a bit of sage advance from couples whove successfully lived to tell the tale. Dont miss this terrific book!

I wish I had read Love at First Fight by Carey and Dena Dyer when I was married 55 years ago. I like the honesty of the authors ( weve learned the most from the failures weve experienced, and Who knew that marriage would require a million little adjustments every time we were together?); the humor (If marriage is a font, then ours is Wingdings); and the way each chapter is divided into He Says, She Says, questions: Taking Off the Gloves, and quotations from others: Tips from the Pros. The scriptures used are especially appropriate for each section. Youll want to buy one for yourself and several for gifts.
