Its preset buttons are 8 on the sides. It also has a dial that you can use to customize your cooking to as much as 48 programs.

Its currently the most powerful Instant Pot yet to be designed; far ahead of Instant Pot Max in terms of wattage. Thus, its going to heat more quickly do the sauting better. It will also reach pressure more quickly due to its quicker pressurizing.

3. Redesigned cooking lid: The lid of the Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus automatically seals when in place. Once you put the lid on, you will hear the jingle and know that its time to relax. A pressure release switch has also been added which makes it possible for you to release the pressure while you keep your hand at a safe distance and avoid steam injury.
4. Updated lid fins: There are little lid holders sitting in the housing. They have been redesigned to be angled in the new model. The holders have also been moved from the sides to be closer to the back. So when stirring the pot, the lid is now out of the way. Thats a big difference.
5. Faster and cuter pressure release: Thanks to the QuickCool technology and the QuickCool Tray, the natural pressure release is 50% faster. Your heating can start faster than usual. Apart from this, Duo Evo Plus comes with a steam release cover. This prevents liquid from spitting during quick pressure releases as it usually happens with the previous Instant Pot when cooking high starch foods. Thus, there is a reduced need for intermittent pressure releases. The sound is also dampened during a quick release.
6. Inner pot redesigned: The Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus comes with a new flat-bottom inner pot that is stovetop-friendly. Its great for sauting. It also has two easy-grip handles which ensure that you can safely move it from one appliance to another. It is Tri-Ply stainless steel that is transferrable to electric stovetop, ceramic, gas, or induction cook-tops.
