This simple Chocolate Flavored Turrn is created with puffed rice cereal, almonds, and some chocolate. All you have to do is let it refrigerate until its firm and then cut it into slices. This dessert has the flavours to make everyone fall in love with it just like Jane has the qualities to fight for herself and be strong.

Cooking time: 3 hours and 15 minutes
Ingredients:
Baking chocolate (semi-sweet) (8 ounces)
Dark chocolate (8 ounces)
Vegetable shortening (70 grams)
Puffed rice cereal (2.8 ounces)
Coarsely chopped almonds (3 ounces)
Instructions:
Gather all your ingredients and break the dark chocolate and baking chocolate into pieces. Place the pieces inside a medium mixing bowl containing water (1 tablespoon). For about 1 minutes, heat inside the microwave. Stir after checking the chocolate. If it's still not melted, put it back inside the microwave and heat for 30 more seconds. Repeat the process until the chocolate gets melted completely.
Next, put the vegetable shortening inside the melted chocolate and keep stirring until the shortening is well-combined with the chocolate. Add in the almonds/hazelnuts and the puffed rice.
Take a mould and spread the chocolate mixture inside it. Make sure the mould measures 5 inches by 7 inches.
Use a plastic wrap to cover tightly and put the Turrn inside the refrigerator for a minimum of 6 hours.
Once firm, remove and take out the Turrn into a plate. Cut into inch thick slices and serve!
Frixuelos de Asturias
You can prepare these classic Spanish Frixuelos with a sweet twist. Fill them with egg custard and whipped cream for the perfect flavour. This Spanish Dessert will remind you exactly of Jane Eyre. She's the narrator and protagonist of the story. Also, she's honestly, intelligent, and young.

Ingredients:
Sifted flour (1 cups)
Sugar (3 tablespoons)
Salt ( teaspoon)
Eggs (3)
Milk (16 ounces)
Butter (2 tablespoons)
Instructions:
Take a small sized bowl and put butter inside it. Heat the butter inside the microwave until it has completely melted.
In a large sized mixing bowl, sift the salt, sugar and flour together. Set aside. Next, take another medium sized mixing bowl and add eggs in it. Beat them until they become thick. Add in the melted butter and milk. Beat until well blended.
Add the egg-milk mixture inside the dry ingredients and until the batter becomes smooth, beat it well.
Then, take a frying pan and heat it over a medium flame. Melt some butter inside it and use a ladle to pour the batter inside the pan. Cook on top of a medium flame until the bottom turns brown. Flip and lightly brown the other side.
Once cooked, transfer it into a warm plate and spoon the filling in the middle and roll it up. You can use applesauce for the filling. Serve after garnishing with some orange slices.
