Traditional frying methods induce the Maillard effect by completely submerging foods in hot oil. The air fryer works alternatively by coating the desired food in a thin layer of oil while circulating air heated up to 400-450 F to confer energy and initiate the reaction. By doing this the appliance is able to fry foods like potato chips, chicken, fish, steak, French fries or pastries while using between 70% and 80% less oil than a traditional deep-fryer. Breakfast Recipes
Air Fryer Spinach Frittata
Prep time : 5 minutes
Cook time : 10-12 minutes

Ingredients
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1/3 pack (4oz) spinach
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3 oz mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat the Air fryer to 370 F
- In a baking pan heat the oil for about a minute.
- Add minced onions into the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add spinach and cook for about 3-5 minutes to about half cooked. They may look a bit dry but it is ok, just keep frying with the oil.
- In the large bowl whisk the beaten eggs, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with cheese. Pour the mixture into a baking pan.
- Place the pan in the air fryer and cook for 6-8 minutes or until cooked.
Easy Breakfast Casserole
Prep time : 15 minutes
Cook time : 25-30 minutes
Servings : 5-6
Ingredients
- 1 pound hot breakfast sausage
- bag (15 oz) frozen hash browns, shredded
- 1 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- teaspoon pepper
- teaspoon garlic powder
- teaspoon onion powder
- teaspoon salt
Directions
- In the large skillet cook sausages until no longer pink. Drain fat.
- Add shredded hash browns to the skillet and cook until lightly brown.
- Place hash browns in the bottom of oven proof pan, lightly greased. Top with sausages and cheese.
- It the bowl whisk together eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and milk.
- Pour egg mixture over the hash browns.
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 350-370 F
- Place the pan in the fryer into the fryer and cook for 25-30 minutes, until become ready.

Cheesy French Fries
Prep time : 7 minutes
Cook time : 25 minutes

Ingredients
- 2 pounds potatoes, cut into strips
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- A pinch rosemary dried and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
Directions
- Cut potatoes into nearly inch x 3-inch stripes and dry them using a paper towel.
- Preheat your air fryer to 330-350F.
- Sprinkle potatoes with olive oil, thyme, and rosemary.
- Cook in the air fryer for 20-25 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- Serve and top with grated parmesan.
Spinach with Bacon, Onion & Garlic
Prep time : 5 minutes
Cook time : 10 minutes
Servings : 4
Ingredients
- 6 oz spinach
- 2 bacon strips
- 1 small onion, cut
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Directions
- Cut onion and bacon, mince garlic.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350 F.
- Cook onion and bacon for 2-3 minutes.
- Add spinach and cook another 5-7 minutes, until ready and tender.
