What is Google Classroom

G oogle Classroom, developed by Google, is a free web-based learning platform that allows teachers to create curriculums and conduct remote-online classes. Teachers can also share assignments seamlessly with students to complete, after which they are graded, without a need to have anything printed. It also serves as a means of information communication to students. For example, teachers can post upcoming assignments, post announcements, and even email both the students and their parents .

Google Classroom simplifies the collaboration between teacher-student by leveraging a variety of G Suite (Google Suite) services such as Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Forms, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and many other Google services to create and store assignments among others.
