HUSTLERS & SEEKERS
No one has spent more time in the lab of high performance than Tommy Baker. He has an incredible pulse on what were all after: pursuing our passions with purpose supported by a life filled with meaning and balance. This book shows you how to thread the needle on when to push and when to pause.
Seth Mattison, keynote speaker and Future of Work Advisor
Finally, someone addresses the dichotomy that every single entrepreneur faces at some point in their career. Are we to forever play the role of the hustler as we race full speed down a path where we are not finding fulfillment? Or are we to slam on the brakes and own the role of the seeker as we journey inward to find answers without any real progress? The two ideologies could not be further apart, and yet Tommy beautifully illustrates how we can achieve self-actualization by bringing them together. This book is a must-read for anyone who has either felt burnt out from their drive or stuck in an endless loop of self-development with no results to show for itso basically for every business owner.

In a culture that has normalized and celebrated force and stress as pathways to success, many have paid the price with health issues, chaotic relationships, and emotional bankruptcy. On the flipside, others are hopelessly stuck dreaming without the fortitude to manifest their souls dreams into reality. In Hustlers & Seekers, Tommy Baker brilliantly decodes how to alchemize passion and discipline, stillness, and actionand faith with fierceness. If youre looking for a passionate, thriving and playful life... this book is a must read.

Hustlers & Seekers hits home for me in so many ways. Somedays I would describe myself as a hustler, other days as a seeker, and oftentimes as both, which can create a lot of confusion. Since we live in a world where hustlers are celebrated, and seekers are considered lost, its easy to miss the mark. Instead, Tommy combines both states and creates the bridge that allows you to truly have the best of both worlds. Inside these pages, youll find the foundation youve been missing so you can have it all without making yourself insane.
Jay Nixon, two-time author and owner of Thrive Forever Fit

In his no-nonsense style, Tommy provides a self-ascribed and proven roadmap for helping the reader to avoid time-wasting thoughts and actions. The result is a book that helps end procrastination and gives readers a sense of confidence in how to move boldly forward in pursuit of their dreams!

INTRODUCTION
Youre torn between two worlds.
In one world, theres the constant push toward doing more, tackling massive ambitions, and chasing your dreams at 100 mph. You need to be a grinder, a high performer, a go-getter. You must take relentless action.
Grind, baby, grind!
In this world, youre a ruthless achiever. You must wake up at 4:30 a.m., dominate your morning, and complete an 11-step ritual before sunrise. You cant ever take your foot off the gas. Otherwise, youre going to lose and succumb to a life of toil, averageness, and incessant mediocrity. Thats the fear, right? Youll be left behind, forgotten. As good as dead.
A goner.
In the other world, detaching, creating space, and unplugging are crucial. This world is where you pause, meditate, align with your North Star. You must practice mindfulness and be aware. You must surrender and be here now, allowing the right doors to open through divine timing. Otherwise, youll be left in the fetal position from burnout, spit into the abyss of ambition. Thats what they say, right? You need to unplug, detach, breathe.
