Weave in all ends. Hanger With C, cast on 20 sts. Bind off all sts. Sew ends tog to make loop, then sew loop to top back of stocking. MittenCuff With E, cast on 36 sts. Work 6 rows in k2, p2 rib.

Knit 1 row. Cut E. Body Change to D. Beg with a WS purl row, work 3 rows in St st. Gusset set-up row (RS): K17, pm, [kfb] twice, pm, k174 gusset sts. Cut yarn, leaving a 20-inch tail. Thread tail through rem sts and pull tight to close. Use tail to sew side seam. Weave in all ends. FinishingHanger With B, work as for stocking. Snowflake With B, cast on 6 sts, [bind off 5 sts, cast on 5 sts] 5 times, bind off 5 sts; fasten off.

Rep [Rows 14] 6 more times. Knit 6 rows. Bind off. Cut yarn, leaving a 12-inch tail. Tree With C, cast on 15 sts. Dec row (RS): K1, k2tog, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, k113 sts. Dec row (RS): K1, k2tog, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, k113 sts.

Continuing in garter st, rep Dec row [every RS row] 3 more times, ending with a WS row7 sts. Next 2 rows (Cast-on rows): Cast on 3 sts, knit to end13 sts at end of 2nd row. Use tail to sew outside edge of tree to center of pocket rectangle. With garter ridges vertical and using tail, sew trunk to pocket rectangle below tree. Sew side edges of rectangle tog to form back seam. With seam at center back, sew bottom edges tog. Sew button to top of tree. Button Loop With B, cast on 12 sts. Button Loop With B, cast on 12 sts.

Bind off all sts. Sew ends tog to make loop, then sew loop to top center back of pocket. Hanger With B, work as for stocking. Sew loop to top left of pocket.
