With the Instant Pot pressure cooker, it will be no brainer for you to cook delicious and exotic Filipino recipes. Filipino cuisine are developed from different cultures and it is very varied. It has traces from Spanish and Mexican cuisines, though it resembles other Southern Asian cuisines a lot.

Filipino cuisine is probably the least spicy of all South Asian countries. But do not think that it doesnt have vivid taste, it does. Instead of spices, Filipino cuisine presupposes using lots of herbs, garlic, onions and ginger to add flavor to the dishes. That helps to preserve the vivid taste of the food itself, not covering it with the spices.

On average, Filipinos eat four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon snack. For breakfast people have coffee, fried rice, eggs or salted bread buns. Lunch and Dinner doesnt have any particular food, they can include any Filipino dishes.

The most popular Filipino dishes are rice and rice cakes, noodles, ulam (pork, chicken, and beef, in different variations), different salads.

In this book you will find different Filipino recipes, the ones that are traditional and can be found only in the Philippines, and also the ones that can be found in other parts of Asia but are also a part of Filipino cuisines. With the help of Instant Pot, you will be able to cook these dishes quickly and without spending too much time on the cooking process.

T he Instant Pot is one of the safest pressure cookers you can find in the world due to the safety features as well as the electronically programmable functions built into it. You can't go wrong when using the Instant pot with regards to safety, as there are several safety features all acting as redundancies to each other.

One of the most notable safety features of the Instant Pot is the two safety catches attached to the lid. One of which acts as a lock mechanism that prevents the opening of the Instant Pot when it's in operation, and the other acts as an automatic excess pressure release mechanism. If for any reason the pressure release mechanism fails to function as designed, an extra layer of safety feature activates and shuts off the heating element, especially when an excess build of pressure has been detected.
