Today, the Schnoodle is a popular breed inthe United States and in Europe. Schnoodles are energetic, and theyare also eager to please, making them easy to train, even for themost inexperienced pet parent. Older Schnoodles fit in well withmost working peoples schedules, yet they still need be walked afew times a day.

All About Your Schnoodle

The Schnoodle is a handsome hybrid breed thatcarries both Poodle and Schnauzer characteristics.

All Schnoodles have a wavy coat that may varyin texture from wiry to soft. With long feathered ears, ruggedfeatures and an easygoing temperament, this handsome breed lovesbeing around other pets, children and people, making him theperfect candidate for a family dog.

It is believed that the earliest occurrenceof a breed that was similar to todays Schnoodle was most probablya breed developed in England known as the Truffle Dog. It isthought that white Toy Poodles (which were developed by breedingthe larger German or French white corded Poodles with the Maltese)were crossed with a small terrier type of dog to create the TruffleDog.
