Home-made sauces cookbook: sauces and rubs recipes from Worldwide. Spectacular guide for the improvement of your dishes at home . Carrie Freeman
Introduction
Can you imagine eating your dinner without pouring some ketchup in your pasta? Or maybe a salad without dressing? Or pizza without its finger-licking cheesy sauce? I am sure you wont like your menu without sauces in it. These tasty liquids, based on oils, sugar, veggies, herbs or citruses add that perfect extra moisture and bits of tantalizing flavours to different kinds of food. The consistency of sauces may differ too, from very liquid to smooth and even chunky. Usually served with meat, seafood and some other main course meals, sauces can complement natural flavours and add own flavour notes to any dish, as well as extra shine by simply dipping or purring over.
The rub is the combination of seasonings and aromatic herbs like oregano, basil, thyme and rosemary that brings crust and specific flavour to any food. When used in the right way, rubs can make any product, especially meat, fish and seafood taste like an extraordinary culinary masterpiece. Dry rubs usually include black pepper, white pepper, paprika, salt, cayenne pepper, onion powder, mustard powder, mango powder, garlic powder, cumin powder, ground nutmeg, dry coriander, cinnamon, brown sugar, oregano, fennel seeds, and thyme among other herbs and spices. After checking out the recipes coming in this sauce and rubs recipe book, you will be surprised how quick and easy you can change the flavour of any staple dish by adding a new flavour twist to it with some sauce or dip.
