Chapter 1: Easy Bacon Recipes
The Best Spinach
Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon (optional)
- 4 tbsps butter, divided
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 2 tbsps all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 C. milk
Directions
- Place some paper towels around your bacon. Then put everything on a plate. Cook the bacon in the microwave for 2 mins. Flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Once bacon is fully cooked break it into pieces and place aside.
- Now stir fry the onions in butter (1 tbsp) and fry everything until the onions are see through. Now combine in the spinach and cook the mix until most of the liquid has evaporated. Make sure to stir as the spinach cooks.
- Get a 2nd pan and add in the rest of the butter.
- Get the butter hot and then add in your flour and begin stirring while it heats.
- Get everything smooth then add in: pepper salt, and garlic powder.
- Continue stirring and heating the mix until it is thick while slowly continuing to stir while adding the milk and cook everything until it is thick again.
- Now combine the spinach with the flour mix and also add in the bacon.
- Enjoy.

BBQ Shrimp Appetizer
Ingredients
- 16 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 slices bacon
- barbeque seasoning, to taste
Directions
- Set your oven to 450 degrees before doing anything else.
- Take your shrimp and wrap them with the bacon then stake a toothpick through it.
- Place a baking rack inside of a jelly roll pan after covering the pan with some foil.
- Layer the shrimp on the rack and liberally apply your bbq seasonings to both sides.
- Now wait 17 mins before continuing.
- Cook everything in the oven for 13 mins.
- Enjoy.
