Dr. Paulette Kouffman Sherman is a Licensed Psychologist with both a Masters and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, with concentrations in school psychology and family therapy. She has a private practice in Manhattan and is a certified life coach who works internationally by phone and Skype. She is an author, teacher, and speaker, and has worked in high schools, universities, hospitals, partial programs, nursing homes, group and private psychotherapy practices, and nursery lab schools with clients who have relationship, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and career issues, familial and personal struggles, career development issues, and losses. Dr. Sherman was awarded the Woman of the Year in psychology in New York State by the National Association of Professional Women in 2013.
She specializes in relationship issues and was a monthly speaker at the Learning Annex for over two years in Manhattan. She was an expert on the CBS Early Show , the AM Northwest Early Show , the Curtis Sliwa show on 77WABC, and NPRs Cityscape on WFUV. Shes been quoted as a relationship expert in over 70 outlets such as MSN.com, USA Weekend , the NY Post , Crains , Newsweek , Lifetime.com, More , Match.com, Foxnews.com, Fox Business, Better Homes & Gardens , Readers Digest , Redbook , Glamour , Forbes , Womans Day , Metro newspapers, Mens Health , True Story , Health magazine, WebMD, Everyday Health , Seventeen , Glamour , Complete Woman magazine, the London Times , the Huffington Post , and the New York Times . Shes also a Certified Angel Therapy Practioner, and was certified in the medicinal use of essential oils by David Crow.
