Chapter One: Introducing The Harbinger II
T
he Harbinger II: The Return is a Christian mystery novel by Messianic Pastor Jonathan Cahn. This long-awaited sequel follows the narrative of Nouriel Kaplan and Ana Goran as he recounts to her his second encounter with the prophet following the events of the first book.
The Harbinger II is divided into four parts. The first part is called The Return and starts with Ana and Nouriel talking in her office about what transpired during his first encounter with the Prophet in the first book. She summarized that the revelations involved an exchange of a clay seal with ancient inscriptions. Nouriel had to unlock the mysteries of each seal in order for him to meet the prophet again. There were nine seals, nine mysteries, and nine revelations in total. She also noted that the mysteries revolved around nine harbingers that signified calamity, destruction, and judgment. All of these happened to ancient Israel, but then one of the harbingers appeared in America in modern times. Just as these harbingers warned Israel, they now warned America.
Nouriel then shared that the publishing of the first book, referring to The Harbinger in real life, had been a supernatural eventa confirmation from God. Now that millions had read it, Ana was interested to know if the prophet had visited Nouriel again. Reluctantly, he said yes.
The revelations resumed when a little girl in a blue coat appeared in one of his book signing events and handed him an ancient seal. He waited for the prophet by the Hudson River, and when he finally appeared in a dream, he told Nouriel that his mission wasnt over. Like a watchman in ancient Israel, he had blown the horn through the first book, but many were still asleep and didnt know about the danger that was coming to America. The prophet returned so that he could continue the mission.
He added that America, like Israel, knew the will, the ways, and the blessings of God but still waged war against Him. When America was shaken during 9/11 so that it would wake up and return to God, it instead continued to harden its heart. To bring America back to God, the prophet would show Nouriel pieces of the bigger picture that he must record and publish in another book, which in real life is The Harbinger II: The Return .
Part Two is called The Unrevealed, and this is where the prophet revealed visions to Nouriel that were essential to understanding the mysteries. The prophet showed Nouriel an ancient war in Israel that began with the breaking down of the two golden gates of the city. Nouriel pointed out that America didnt have a gate, but the prophet corrected him by bringing him to New York City. The Hudson River, the island of Manhattan, the New York Harbor, and New York City itself was Americas gate. It was the location of many crucial events in the country and, more importantly, its where the presence of the enemy was first felt through 9/11. The gate is where the judgment begins, as it was in Israel in Biblical times. Likewise, the Pentagon served as the Biblical representation of a wall that kept a city safe. Its breaching during the 9/11 attack signified Americas lack of security because it had departed from Gods will. America would find that the walls it trusted to keep it safe would come crashing down in Gods wrath.
