Why People Struggle to Change

Have you ever struggled to quit this, start that, slim down, fix this or solve that? If you are human, chances are there is some habit or behaviour in your life that you are trying to change. It is in our DNA to be driven to evolve and advance. Science has proven that humans are happier and healthier when they are learning and growing. Hours, days, months, and in some cases, years of our lives dwindle away as we chase the ever- elusive, disappearing rainbow and its pot of gold. All the sacrifice, blood, sweat and tears seems futile as we find ourselves, once again, back at the starting gate. What is worse than starting over is that self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth gets hit hard during the process. So not only are you back doing the same old habits and behaviours, it is easy to start buying into the belief that you dont have the ability to change.
