Essential Psychic Healing presents the 10th anniversary edition of Psychic Healing with Spirit Guides and Angels. Though written ten years ago, the information in this book is as current today as it was in 1996, maybe more so. Where the material seemed quite radical at the time of the books first release, it seems much less so by todays healing standards. The book presents a complete course for learning to do psychic healing. It starts with beginning skills and proceeds to advanced psychic healing work. I have long felt that while there is a great deal of beginners metaphysical information available, there is little to interest and help advanced healers. This book tries to cover both, by proceeding from beginning material through intermediate and advanced information.

Yet, what would have been considered advanced ten years ago may only be intermediate now. To go beyond Essential Psychic Healing, the next step is the karmic release and ascension information of We Are the Angels, followed by the Essential Energy Balancing series. These books are available from The Crossing Press. To do the work that precedes Essential Psychic Healing, I recommend taking Reiki (all three degrees) and learning the work of Essential Reiki. These books, and the book in your hands, provide a full course of training for anyone who has the dedication, discipline, and desire to learn to become a psychic healer.

Essential Psychic Healing contains chapters for getting startedinformation on meditation, visualization, the chakras and aura, and running energy. It contains the intermediate skills of working with spirit guides, hands on and distance healing, emotional release and crystal work. More advanced skills include beginning karmic release, soul retrieval, removing spirit attachments, and aiding in the death process. While the information is accurate and comprehensive, whole books can be written (and certainly have been written) about each skill. If you are especially interested in any of the topics of this book, you will want to look further.

No matter how many books you read, however, the only thing that will teach you psychic healing is to do it. Like most skills, this one can only be partly learned by reading about it. To learn it, you must do it. Use the information and the methods of this book in frequent healing and you will become a healer. If you dont do the work, dont do the healing, you will not. I wish you well in your work and explorations with Essential Psychic Healing.

T he healing that I do for others has always been based upon my own healing journey. What works for me in my own growth I develop into techniques to use in healing sessions and ultimately to teach other healers. The techniques that prove successful continue, and by using them in varied situations they evolve into healing tools with basically predictable results. Techniques developed by others or learned from reading about them take on new form and I adapt them for best results, often changing others methods drastically. I combine methods and frequently use more than one technique at a time, sometimes several in one healing session as I work very selectively.
