Unveiling Mysteries of the Bible is an exploration of the many mysterious and puzzling passages found in the Word of God that have perplexed millions of readers of the Bible over the years. This book attempts to answer the questions raised by many people who have never found a satisfactory answer to the questions that have troubled them.

For the last four decades I have accumulated thousands of books dealing with archeology, biblical customs, theology, and history that have provided tremendous material to assist me in finding answers to those questions that have troubled so many readers. During the last few decades, I completed several research trips to the Middle East and Europe. In addition I communicated with bookstores throughout the world acquiring numerous old and often rare books written by great men of God who were diligent students of the Word of God. These volumes contain tremendous archeological, historical and scientific evidence that provide many well reasoned answers to the questions that occur to anyone who studies the Word of God. I am indebted to the work of countless Bible scholars who have previously studied to find the answers to these intriguing questions about many of the most mysterious passages found in the pages of the Holy Scriptures. The Internet and major lending libraries have provided invaluable assistance in completing the research that answers many of the most difficult questions about the Word of God.

This book is the result of almost forty years of research involving the reading of literally thousands of books, Bible commentaries, and countless hours of detailed study of the Scriptures. My parents, Lyle and Florence Jeffrey, have inspired me to pursue a lifelong commitment to the study of the Bible. Their profound love and service to Jesus Christ was motivated by their love of God and a dedication to the command of Jesus to go into all the world to preach the Gospel. Special thanks to my editorial assistant, Adrienne Jeffrey Tigchelaar, whose excellent editorial services have provided invaluable assistance. My editor Rick Blanchette has provided excellent assistance to produce a readable and well documented manuscript.

Have you ever been puzzled by a mystery in the Bible and you were unable to find anyone who could give you an answer? As a young Christian, I often found myself perplexed by numerous passages in the Scriptures that are difficult to fully understand. I would ask pastors and Bible teachers many questions about these mysteries that fascinated me, including: Where was the Garden of Eden? Where did Cain get his wife? Why do we worship on Sunday? Who were the giants and the sons of God? How can we explain the remarkable miracles during the Exodus? Jesus virgin birth? The three days and three nights and Christs resurrection? The Star of Bethlehem? The Tower of Babel and the rebuilding of Babylon? I seldom received explanations that satisfied my curiosity.

As I grew in my Christian faith, I began to acquire a large library of books on archeology, theology, and prophecy that provided some of the answers I sought. Over the last four decades I have accumulated a great deal of information and have studied numerous Bible commentaries that began to unveil these fascinating mysteries.
